Rest assured, if you're a local (of a foreigner for that matter) and piss the cops off, you'll see a swift and serious response. Mind you, there are three cadres that i've seen in this country; the army, the police and the bureaucratic arm. Each of these cadres will fall on you like a ton of bricks if you piss 'em off. The only way out of a bad situation is to have connections to one of the above gangs. (And they ARE all gangs.)

Yus! I was thinking how cool that would be in our summer cottages where there are no electrical water pump for sauna (not needed, it is good to do something physical). Anyway in those places that bike would be cool, would just have to drive it through a small swamp every time in other cottage, something even my Skyteam would be unable to do.

Can you kindly post the youku link for this? Not sure what our grandmas at Shanghai Telecom are doing these days, but VPN performance here has collapsed in recent months, so downloading even a 3-minute youtube clip is a heap o' mafan.
