Did anoth 60 miles mostly all Highway driving and the bike likes that 55 - 65mph area. She handled the traffic just fine and still had plenty of power.
For all you Heist riders out there. I have 2 words for you... Kidney Belt.
I wear mine every time I ride. The ride was good before but even better now.
This has been your latest Gardo PSA
Yeah, I agree, loonies; friendly, fun loonies but nuts all the same! Talking of nuts, don't you have to wear padded jock-straps (athletic supporters for our USA friends) as well as kidney belts, and what is with that air filter - sucking hard, right next to the man bits?
Thanks guys you are all too kind.
Jape good to see you back on the boards, I actually have a pair of super mot shorts which are padded in all the right spots for those real long rides. Gives me that added extra comfort on those long rides. I can do a 100 miles and walk around without an issue.
Just hit the Bike nite by me and the bike was a huge success, all the HD guys loved it and thought it was a chopped up Triumph. They were more Gagga when I told them it was a China bike lol They were even more impressed that it was a 250cc (229cc) Lifan Engine
Got a lot of attention and even more questions. Met some really nice guys and was invited to some of their gatherings and want me to show the bike off.
Gardo,
Those Harley guys sure don't know much if they think that your Heist is a Triumph.:riding:
I chock it up the the sclerosis and cataracts :lol8:
Cool Gardo, where did you go? Glad the bike was a hit and you didn't run into any of the Harley snobs. It's funny when people have no idea what the bike is. You should just slap a quick triumph sticker on there to screw with people haha.
I love it, you guys are riding the wheels off these things!
I just took the carb off my bike to send down to Weaver. That guy is great. Trying to sort out the pilot jet in the sheng wey.
