I got the bare knuckle bars put on the bike and some bar end mirrors on there way. Only running one though. Also swapped speedo to a mph unit that was mentioned earlier in the thread and mounted it to the bars, accidentally broke an idicator light so I went ahead and took the whole chrome assembly off and am going to make something and reroute the lights. Also going to start getting rid of the chrome all around :)

like i said work in progress. mounted the speedo on the middle of the bars with the bar clamp it came with. just ordered some led lights so i can start to reroute my indicator lights. aslo thinking of ordering the verticle side mount plate bracket without the brakelight attached to it. instead i am going to run led light bolts and the round ford tailight on the fender rather than the cats eye on it now. getting pretty excited on seeing all the stuff i can do to make the bike "mine" :)

See i think that looks better without the indicator lights so much cleaner
yeah.... just need to find where to mount my led lights when they come. got bolt lights so we'll see. probably end up making a bracket to mount where that chrome plate was if nothing else comes to mind. REALLY can't wait to get rid of the mirrors! should be wednesday or thursday when my new one gets here. i'll post up pictures as i get things done.
well one of the mods I was looking at (the LED tail light) got pushed up. As my brother stated, there's an issue with the quality of the stock tail light and the inner bulb mount breaking pretty easily, both his and mine broke within a week of each other with about the same about of mileage on it (just shy of 1,000 miles). The LED tail light looks great though and is definitely brighter than the stock, but it's also lower profile, so I'm not sure how well traffic will respond, I've only be out once since I got it and it was all country roads.
My running light on my headlight seems to have gone too (though the filament is still intact?) High beam works fine, hoping the bulb is just bad, but won't know until I can find a replacement bulb. Does anyone have a part number? I checked our local bike shop and they couldn't find a similar bulb, I was told to check NAPA, but I'd like a part number before I go in to cut down on the search. I found one that looks close on ebay:

Also, does anyone have a part number for the magnetic drain plug? I looked for the link earlier in the thread and the ebay listing is no longer valid. I'd also like to pick up at NAPA if possible, I'm an impatient man, so I'd like to grab locally if possible
That LED in CCWs shop looks nice, wires and bolts right on. no muss no fuss. Looks small, but LED's are really bright. Another option would be a beefier (less plastic) DOT light from any MC shop.Quote:

I got my MDP from John on here at 233. Came quick and with a few goodies as well. Being a Heist dealer, he can probably even get you the LED light at the same time.
