Still stuck in FL trying to wrap up some work on the Sanibel Island cottage. Maybe next week?

I am just thinking you should make sure the brake light lights up when you step on the brake. It would be obvious the wiring is wrong if the brake light doesn't light. (I would be surprised, but another easy solution to look into).

hi Guys, This has been an interesting 64 pages. I'm Donbinga had a honda 350 25years ago and a yamaha 750xs for a few years. No bike right now. Was looking for a scooter to hop around the neighborhood came across the Dong Fang. It looks so simple and clean. I like the old school look and the fact it seems easy to work on.

Vince the bike looks good on the old homestead. Please let us know how it handles on those mountain roads
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
...well I have the freight Co. coming to pick this POS up tomorrow between 12-2PM and I still never heard from countyimports, only YRC called me up and said were coming to get the bike lol...
Good reddens :P
This thing is falling apart sitting still! Not only has it rusted to the ground already but the gas tank leaks, nuts just seems to fall off at random among a host of other minor issues.
Other then that the bike still looks amazing I really wish I didnt get one that was all mnuffed up =(
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
Thank you for the invite barnone. I'm up in north ga and tn quite a bit. I had a talk with a local importer today. They sell a lot of scooters and motercycles from china. I brought a print out of the Dong Fang and suggested a new oppertunity. It will be interesting to see what happens. They seemed to like the idea. I figured that if they are bring in containers at a time and do the prep work this could get a few more out there. Local is good.
By the way, Aboshi & Gardo , I'm sorry you two have had so much trouble. That is why I'm working on the local importer. It is different if you can walk in the door.
