Thanks Scootdog! I might have a local leather shop take a stab at the stock seat, re-cover it and add a BUNCH of padding, Im thinking of like a Rough textured light brown leather, and get a matching tool roll for the front.........HMMMM!!
I know Bob said He had ordered at least two more bikes that should be there on Thur?
Reminds me of Judas Priest
And now I'm reminded of this:

That's the seat I'm running. Big improvement. Though it is does have more padding, the slight kick up in the back is what makes it for me. Bolts right on using the stock brackets. Weighs far more than the CCW seat though.
Here it is with a test fitting of 3" traditional springs

Just hopping in here to say hello. Been a long time car guy (VW's/Volvos) but I am interested in getting into the bike game now that I don't have any project cars to work on. Thought I would start with a CCW Heist to get in the game. There are a couple for sale a few miles away from me and I am itching to get one.
I hail from Manchester, NH. My dad has been in the motorcycle painting business for over 30 years (Fitsys Custom Paint) and has been riding for over 40 years. I've never had an interest until recently so I am hoping this is a new passion I can share with my dad.
I am working my way through the 64 pages of info and insight here, but I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you!
