Re: My NEW XF200 qingqi (Pics!)
laurpat,
Welcome to the site.
I have pretty much the same bike (Qlink XF200) with the same can.

It's pretty loud so I stuck a half ass baffle in it.
I currently running a 127.5 main and 35 primary jet.
My mods are documented at

Thank you for the warm welcome. Would anyone have a link where I could get the sprockets. I'm living in Ireland so ill need to get them shipped here. Is it worth putting on a new stainless pipe with the new exhaust . what's this about upgrading the carb? Is it worthwhile. any advise would be great. p

Barnone - Was just going thru your link to china riders. I saw you bought a NFX Helmet. I got a Orange and black AFX Full face too....Bought it from Dennis Kirk. I think I paid about the same $60 I signed up on china riders some time ago but started getting e-mail in chinese and could never figure out how to get logged in, so that site was a wash for me! LOL Just replaced my headlight today, i'll try and get some pics up soon. The black headlight on the orange looks awesome, just like I thought it would. TTYL

Up dating/changing the carb is probably not necessary unless you are going the whole race route with electronics and all that stuff. Not sure it is all that advisable on a chinabike ... but most here suggest you get at least smoother performance through all the gears with a jet change or at least a reset that will balance the flow of the exhaust and inlet after any mods in those areas. Check the threads (search) for specific information when you have a few hours to spare and enjoy the read of many posts.

laurpat,
I don't see the advantage of a stainless pipe over the stock pipe.
Just increased the size of the jets, no replacement of the carb. You might not need to do this depending on the size of your stock jets.

What is the general opinion on a big bore kit 125 - 150 that is available - http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
If i did this would i need to then look at the Mikuni 30mm Carb?
Here is a link to a 124 that the up-grade was carried out on. http://www.youtube.com/user/darlo31#p/u/1/NkG6YFiaG5s
Re: My NEW XF200 qingqi (Pics!)
laurpat,
I see that your bike is only a 125cc, right? I don't know about the 125cc version, mine is 200cc and not very powerful so I think a 150cc upgrade would be a waste of money.
There is not much to be gained in power with mods with these small bikes. Need a lot more displacement to get decent power.
Re: My NEW XF200 qingqi (Pics!)
I did some high speed runs(????) with my XF200 to see what mod helps.
First run 127.5 and 35 jets 16 tooth front sprocket Yosh loud ass can
72 MPH indicated
Second run same as first except 15 tooth front sprocket 73 MPH indicated.
Third run same as second run except stock can back on 75 MPH indicated.
Speedometer is off by about 8 percent high according to my GPS so top speed true is about 67 MPH at 8k RPM.
The Q sounds so much better now so I staying with the stock muffler.
Re: My NEW XF200 qingqi (Pics!)
So basically, the two mods that everyone is doing to try and get a bit more speed out of this bike are actually making your bike slower?
