Re: Shineray X2X review, Guandong
Milton & Snake,
very much thanks for your feedback.
a) Milton's seat advise and related comments I have seen. As I do not plan longer trips with that bike and it will be more a fun tool I still wait with this mod first but take it to the list.
b) the spoke issue I will talk with Barry and come back for details if needed
c) If you have a specification for the wheel bearings available please send it so that I can put it to the listing
d) I will cancel the FCR carb from the list and put the PE32 in
e) the exhaust I check out later.

Sorry, only have it in Chinese. 6906/6005 are the front/rear wheel bearing specs.

Sorry to hear you have gave up on the idea of a Honds CRF 250L in china , but your proposal for a new bike sounds interesting and should work out well
Wish you luck

Congrats to him are in order as he goes the legal route, not the dodgy illegal number and engine swapping way.
Ride safe! PAL
Re: Shineray X2X review, Guandong
@Pal: Yes, I don't want to play here tricky games like changing VIN. Additional it should be easy a improved X2 to sell later on.
But here comes up a question:
What type/name/model is the X2 engine? And what is it cloned from?
I have seen it is a Honda AX-1 engine MD21E clone, but cant find any further info regarding that spec.
Background of the question is that I found a company website that offers EFI kits for various types of engines.
With that kit comes a software incl. documentation and mapping optimization would be possible :-)
(Luckily I even know an American real EFI expert nearby who would help me)

thanks in advance for your feedback!

Each to there own but I am sure modifying the engine with a change of part to increase the engine performance without declaring these mods is allso illegal !
But at lest my engine and bike will last longer !
Re: Shineray X2X review, Guandong
its just for testing and learning :naughty: .....
I have never the intention to ride on the road .... :lol8: no, no, no
Re: Shineray X2X review, Guandong
Does anyone think that these mods are intended for motorcycles on public roads?
God forbid! No!
Testing and learning. Yes, yes...
These are just elaborations of some theoretical aspects in engine theory.

BTW, ShuBen, interesting link. Thx.

That's funny so is the Yamaha YBR with the new 250cc Lifan 6 speed box just for testing and not for the road so now it's not so dodgy bike as PAL keep referring it as !!
