Can I ask a few repair questions about my qingqi variant 125 and just general advice?
What's wrong on that scooter? GY6 https://translate.google.com/transla...112&edit-text= tricks can applies on it...
Kymco shop manual http://www.airgad.gr/kymco%20agility...e%20manual.pdf is close enough for solving most :confused1:
The Kreidler SM125 Pro has the 125cc DOHC Piaggio engine

Send us some photos as overview and details.
Have you checked all screw connections? Are all parts in place / nothing lost?
Any part found that has a crack?

Hi thanks so much for replying to my questions ive just been told by the person picking it up for me that he cant deliver till end of the week i wont dare do an 80 mile ride home with a wobbly rear end but ill check screws and take better pictures when it arrives. Im looking on parts websites and decent parts are cheap do you think this bike would be good to put money into as i need a bike with decent speed but is economical saving around 600 to 800 for a fully working bike is hard.
Ive also been looking online at fixes and the way to start the bike is to put the key in, turn it fully, then take insulated pliers and touch the two poles on what I think is the solenoid relay, a few sparks happen and it starts up, so from what ive got from what people have wrote is that if i change the solenoid relay it will start without having to bridge those connections each time what do you think?
If u want that test, use screwdriver http://www.dansmc.com/electric_starters.htm. Pilers often don't make good contact ( we are talking >60A) & don't have enough safety clearance from ur body !!!
A safer method (w/o motor load) is use multimeter & hearing to prove solenoid (a magnetic s/w, u will hear the tick sound...) is in working order 1st

This is an interesting turn of events, Qingqi is now offering a GV250, that engine has been in production in China for some time through Yinxiang and its venture with Hyosung.
However, the Qingqi looks different…more modern.
It seems that Hyosung may have shifted from Yinxiang to Qingqi? If that is the case we may see a 650 engine next also some DOHC singles.

No pricing yet for the Chinese market, not released yet.
The GV that will be badged as a Hyosung, will have a bored out version of the v-twin, 275cc
This is all relatively new stuff, there is definitely an affiliation in China with Qingqi.

Yes Qingqi is making or joint venture with the company - I've got a high up manager friend there in Qingqi

Ask him if they are working with Mahindra, now that they have a controlling interest in Peugeot scooters.
Qingqi manufactures scooters, they manufacture scooters for Peugeot, some are imported but some are made domestically in China and then exported.
The Django sold in china is not likely imported, even though its price would make one think it is.
I would wager to bet that many parts if not entire models sold throughout the EU are made in China.
They are likely on the radar of the people at Mahindra through the JV, it presents a link between the two largest markets for scooters. They may be empowered in the future or discounted, since Mahindra owns the majority share in Peugeot they can control that.
Hyosung is the brand used by KR Motors their venture with Yinxiang may or may not be ongoing, at one time 2009 UM was involved and distributing rebranded models of Hyosung. There are links back to Suzuki and engine technology utilized by KR, that is based on Suzuki technology.
The industry overall has excess capacity, many factories kept upgrading and expanding, then the bottom fell out. So it makes sense for a company like KR Motors to take advantage of the excess capacity at Qingqi.
Guys, don't ask me why I ask you this, but does anybody knows is everything is OK with "Qingqi", are they still in business? :eek2:
Are they 100% from "Qingqi"?
I wouldn't be surprised that those bikes are from Shandong "Pioneer"...
I must check the Vin number, but the product menager from Romet statement was it is Jinan Qigqi. This was the only time he give me the information about the plant.
Before, and after that the People from Romet did not answered such questions.
They call me "detetictive monk" because i search for the original producents asap afeter they publish pictures.
Zorge, why do you ask about Qingqi? The Romet CRS EFI from qingqi is not available to buy. The information is "awaiting delivery".
I rode on a test bike in june.... the sezon is going to end.
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a YT clip about some "Qingqi's" bike, under which I accidentally noticed few comments - one guy claimed that they are no longer in business. Yes, I know, it was hard to believe - I mean, they are so close to became a brand, not just another nameless Chinese bike manufacturer, but than came to mind that recently I didn't saw any news from "Qingqi" and suspicion arose... :eek2:
I wont be surprised... I mean, I would, but as much I can see, this wouldn't be "mission impossible" in China, to change completely company's profile. And than, for year or two, you'll get invitation from "UNIA", "Akpil" or "Agromasz" to test their brand new partner's line of tractors. :icon10:
