Mine came with 14/38 as standard, so i have gained quite a bit.
I say going from 15 to 17 is the only thing.:lol8:
Yep, even my Z50 hack came with a 15 front. All three of my minis now have a 17 front which I think is enough. Gets first gear much more usable. Also I believe the larger front sprocket increases chain life.
Top speed of 110 cc hack is 45 MPH GPS with a cruise of 35 without over revving the engine.
Barnone, what is the rear gear on your 110 z50? Is it 37?
Is 45 mph the fastest it will go without the side cart or with?
Is your engine semi auto or manual & a 4 speed?
Reason I ask is that I have a 110 engine manual clutch 4 speed I may put in the jenching panda.
It'll give me an idea what it will do as I have a 37 rear gear & 8" tires.
I wish the 110 engine i have was semi auto.
But I got it cheap brand New Years back so I can't complain
Hack specs at http://www.saferwholesale.com/110cc-...%20monkeyp.htm Take with a grain of salt.:lol8:
Running 17/37 now , came with 15/37.
All speeds are with the sidecar attached. Hard to get a level and straight run in the mountains (3000' elevation) but I saw 45 MPH on the GPS, maybe had a little more but I was winding the hell out of it and ran out of road.
Four speed semi auto which I like.
I did go to 4.00-8 over the 3.50-8 tires on the front and rear but not on the sidecar.

I didn't have room to haul the monkey bikes to Florida where I spend the winter. Our middle daughter in Blacksburg VA is due to have a new grandson in late December so I might stop by Robbinsvile NC on the way home and bring a few monkeys to FL.
Have been a bit bored this last week, have been told not to go to work by the hospital doctor. So have been fiddling out in the garage and have constructed a home made baffle for my excessively noisy straight through exhaust. Just fitted it and ran the Lifan up to opetating temperature. It definetly sounds quieter, just a matter of whether or not it slows or speeds up the bike at all? I quite like the look of the straight through pipe too, just need some sort of chrome tip to finish off the end of the exhaust.
The doctor telling you not to go to work gets frustrating! I learned that with my forced 4 week vacation!! I would be interested to read how much it improves your speed, if at all. I figure, if you hit the same top speed, but quieter, it would be a win-win
My last run was with the standard exhaust so it will interesting with the new one. If there is no improvement i can change it back.
I like that blue, bike looks good
Thanks Blackdeath. Depending on the light conditions it looks either blue or purple. It has a pink metalflake in the lacquer coat.
That straight pipe can't be making you friends in your neighborhood. lol I've run mine briefly w/o the muffler and it was pretty unpleasant.
These are pretty cheap and won't hurt your performance at all.

Yes its pretty loud, tried it previously fully open, thats why i made up a baffle for it. It sounds quieter now but with my arm in a cast i havent had the chance to road test it yet.
Free shipping to the UK according to the ebay advertisement (I 'played' with the postage settings out of curiosity)
The hospital took my cast off yesterday, after 5 weeks i am finally free. Had a quick little run to the shops on the clone to help strengthen my wrist. There is a Boxing Day bike meet i may go to if the weather is ok.
trexuk,
Good news but take it easy for a bit.:lol8:
He told me to do light exercise and not to lift anything heavy for 6 weeks. I thought a bit of gentle throttle action would be acceptable :-)
Merry Christmas guys.
Merry Christmas back to you! Glad to read you are back riding!!
Decided to go out for a bit of a run this afternoon, the weather was dry and skies clear but it was only about 5˚ C, it certainly felt colder riding along. Had 4 layers on my legs and feet and i still felt cold. Did a round trip from home, about 10 miles in all. Was glad to get back TBH, think i need to invest in proper winter biking wear. The Lifan performed ok but was fignting a chilly head wind. Think i may suspend exhaust/speed testing till spring arrives. That or just fit a 125 engine, might be less hassle in the long run. Have seen a full engine kit on Ebay UK for around £240 delivered. Although the Daytona190 looks mighty attractive :-)
Sitting at home now next to the stove thinking about dinner and having to go back to work tomorrow.
If any of you do Facebook i have started a FB page specifically for Dax clones. Its titled: Dax CT70 ST70 Clones. Cheers Paul.
Up to 22 members now :-)
24 :riding:
BTW-- I've added another Chinese bike to the stable. I picked up a minty 2011 Kymco Like 200i scooter just before Christmas. It had a whopping 400 miles on the clock. I guess they're built in Kymco's Chinese factory. I've never owned a fuel injected bike before.
I've never owned a fool injected before either but am getting one next week.
