How many links did you have to remove with the new sprocket? Since it has a master link can you just use a chain breaker to remove a few links and then reconnect it with the master link? Also, was it tough to realign the rear wheel after the sprocket replacement?
Yes you can reuse the master link but some recommend that you always use a new master link.
I forget how many links but if you put the new sprocket on and then wrap the chain around the sprockets you will see how many links you need to remove. Also I would recommend that you get a 520 standard chain repair kit just in case you screw up.

Also nice to have the kit in your tool bag.
Realigning is easy since both sides of the hard tail have good alignment marks. Also it is easy to sight down the chain to check you work.
Barnone: Thanks for all the links to the parts websites. I thought you mentioned earlier that it was a 520 HD chain not a standard chain?
Post # 311 is where you said it was a 520 Heavy Duty chain.
What fuel are you guys putting in your bikes?
What is this called and why did it make my bike go 6mph faster top speed and a lot faster on take off after the tube came off.
