The expression keeping to the right is for slow moving vehicles. So it would be then keeping to the left in the UK since they drive on the opposite side. In other words hug the curb or kerb.

EnerTrac Corporation Electric Hub Motor
Interesting write up on the use of direct drive motors.

The associated videos actually have an 800W motor that looks very much like the type used on the Skyteam bike
Here's much "realer" deal.

Those are for sale on Alibaba?
JN 6000W Street Electric motorcycle
also come in a 3000W version for half the price.
They even have a webpage.

According to their website they are some how associated with Jialing.
The images of the Jianuo have the brand name Keller on them, Keller is based out of Argentina.
The Kitano is just a creative exercise in design and outsourcing manufacturing and the packaging as in marketing is very well done. I can appreciate all that went into it. Its just a novelty bike.
They took the design to Sacin who makes all the parts, the parts go to Japan and are assembled, they sell these in Japan for 388,000 Yen for the 125cc version, which converts to roughly $4,600.00 USD.

I doubt they will sell a lot of them I doubt that the production will last more then a few seasons? They probably will allow Sacin to offer the bike to their distributors who will not likely appreciate it that much, Sacin will mot market it the way the Japanese do, they can hardly keep up a website.
But it should show to anyone that Sacin can make to order, at least if it is all so simple as the K-16 is.
There are lots of past models that could be resurrected.
These could be

It just seems logical to me for Sacin to expand its line of horizontal replicas.

I would like to see them copy an Honda SL frame and offer it with both horizontal and vertical engines. http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...team/01600.jpg

I also would like to see replicas Of Honda S and CS 65, but all these cute bikes, except the SL, XL, CA and CD, have stamped frame. It is unlikely that someone in China decided to produce these kind of bikes.
However, when it comes to replicas with horizontal engines, looks to me that CA and CD clones are popular (and cheap).
