Right on man. Chris is a great guy. I don't think you'll regret it.

Hello everyone! I just received my Heist today! I look forward to having fun and learning more about this bike with all of you! Gardo, PM sent.
welcome steeltoe!
Welcome, enjoy the bike and be safe!
Welcome to the forum, Steeltoe. Where in the US are you, and what do you plan to do with your Heist?
Pix most welcome -- love seeing people's bikes in their new environs.
cheers
Thanks! I live near Philadelphia, PA. As for my plans for this bike, I will first be removing the CA emissions stuff, installing a G&D long pipe, putting on the kickstart, ditching the stock mirrors for whatever I find that I like, getting the wheels powder coated red (not the spokes), spray painting the tires into whitewalls (will get some real ones after these are shot), and doing some minor pin striping. That's it for now, and it's all minor things. I still need to get my motorcycle license!!
CBG and Steeltoe Welcome to the forums and Steeltoe congrats on getting the bike as I stated in the PM its a fun ride and a great bike. CBG you wont be disappointed in the Heist. the rest of you must be getting tired of me saying that the heist is a canvas waiting for an artist. to me its the truth
Steeltoe you are about 100 miles from me an easy 2hr ride for me these days :lol8: Hope that we can hook up for a ride some time.
So tomorrow I take the Widow out to the Hamptons 115 miles one way and about 2.5 hrs roughly. Will really get a chance to feel what she is like on the interstates and the George Washington Bridge as well as I495 I95 and the rest.
Will need to write up a full report when i get back and maybe take some pics of 500 million dollar homes with the Heist in Front :naughty:
gardo, when you got the head put on your bike did you have to turn the idle way up to keep it running? got my stuff today and just finished putting it on but had to adjust the idle way up to keep it running, the bike just doesn't feel right... idk what it is exactly just something about it seems off. can't ride tonight unfortunately, the cops in my town are psycho about noise after 10, but maybe tomorrow
Did you also do the carb on your bike? What is the main jet you are using?
When I did the head on my bike I redid the carb as well bigger carb, jets and all my idle seems right. now did you torque the head on correctly the gasket placement. Tzomorrow when you check it out spay around the head with a bit of 2+2 carb cleaner if the bike idle up, you are getting atmosphere and the head isnt on right
Can you cut a quick vid and post it so i can hear it?
