That's true and companies cut corners like that but I really think tachs are important to riding...maybe even moreso than a speedo.

There are add on tachs which I'd like to play with sometime. EBay has a couple of cheap analog tachs with chrome bodies for the Rebels, Viragos and the such.

hi we have 2 qlinks xf200 its great little bike i live in zamboanga city philippines but im english i had blackbird in uk and this bike ok few problems but nothink to worry about brought my wife one to both black had seat lowered wifes only 5,2 but she has no problems these little bikes great had to order few parts for it but only took 3 days to reach us here in philippines so spares even here are ok to get had sump guard drilled let more air to engine cut back guard looked to big took back hand rails off and rear foot rests but more than happy only cost 87,000 tho paso :) very happy
