I just think that they should expand on the replicas, 1970"s Hondas.

Yes, you're right - Dax clones are with stamped frames.

I think the point is that Dax clones produces dozens of small and large manufacturers, so production of stamped frames is profitable. But non-Dax stamped frames produced only for sole small manufacturer as Skyteam is - it seems unlikely. But if you can afford stamped frames, they might want to think about Honda C72 and C77 replicas. Because, IMO, replicas of small displacement (50-125) bikes are interesting toys and nothing more than that - you get bored quickly.
I think setting up the production is a big cost as well, but once it is set up then the frame can be sold to anyone that assembles.

Retro Minis
If people get bored of these, they do after they spend allot on tinkering with them an awful lot.
These are not really minis, they are small motorcycles and the engine up grades can make them very fast.
Can someone explain to me why this interesting thread is still titled Skyteam? Not sure what it should be called, but I'm guessing some folks who might be interested are ignoring it.
best holiday cheer!
shipped quite a few Honda Z50 Monkey and Honda Dax replica bikes to mates around the world in the past.Quote:
Dax clones
the best replica / clone bikes came from Jincheng (Nanjing), much bettter quality compared to the other clone / replica bike manufacturers. for whats its worth, years ago Skyteam bought bikes from Jincheng and rebadged them as Skyteam bikes, not sure about the current manufacturer of Skyteam bikes but Skyteam set up a sister company operating under he name Sacin.

Yes, we definitely need to split, not only this, but a few topics on the forum.
My suggestion for the name of the new topic: "MJH's corner for C-moto contemplation" :icon10:
