Interesting concept, something to put on the back of a camper?
But how big is the fuel tank, I am assuming its hidden in there somewhere?

I wonder if that is what they did, got a version of the 500 RFVC single...if so then I would like one of these.

Probably the same engine showing up in SWM that is 440cc, I imagine the RFVC 400 was just a smaller bore and they just followed what Honda originally did, this is likely a 440cc Xinyaun (Shineray) Engine.
probably a....

I can understand your enthusiasm, particularly since you got yours for less than a third of the MSRP. I actually have seen one of those in the flesh at a local dealer. To be honest if I found one for $950.00 I would have bought it, probably.
put about a hundred miles on it today (nearly doubling its total miles). Left me with definite impressions. Aside from not being able to get out of it's own way (which as entirely predictable), I was surprised to feel how well it handled. On my favorite twisty country roads, it was so nice as it threaded its way through with hardly any input. Nice! Those tires could probably benefit from an upgrade, tho.....
It’s not broken in yet, there lots of different opinion on that, alternating speeds and rpm constantly. Lots of short rides and opportunities for it to cool down, till the metal stabilizes.
Any one think the newer 500 misfit motor would fit in the older frame? the entire bike looks larger so it may not. Looking for more power on my '13 misfit. with the 230 lifan. either motor swap or GT15 turbo.
There is a turbo kit for the 450 that CCW sells,

CCW has listed new versions of their Misfit within its fillings for the EPA for 2016.

Here are a few images of an updated version of that motorcycle, also known as a CPI ASTOR and now showing up in France as a ORCOL ASTER. These EU versions are equipped with the Jianshe YBR125 engine.

These are now using the GS125 suzuki frame, the swing arm is tubular, was a box.
The YBR engined ones look a lot nicer
The tank shape and the side cover are Ducati like, GT1000. which came in three versions.
I do not believe that CPI is actually a manufacturer, as it is a brand name that is utilizing OEM factories. In the Philippines they sell Qingqi models and also an XGJAO.

The original CCW Misfit was coming out of a CPI OEM called Guangdong Qingxin Liantong Industry Co. Ltd.
The new Misfit will be coming out of Jinan Dalong Vehicle Industry Co. Ltd., which explains the frame being the same as the GS125 (ACE) frame. Dalong was at one time part of the Qingqi group. Most of the offering from CCW are coming out of that same network now, except the Asia wing 450, which are still coming out of the same region. Since the Asters are showing up with a Jianshe engine, then CGS the large government conglomerate must be endorsing all this? The larger framed 500 could easily take the YBR250 engine or even the 250 Suzuki engine. But who knows why that may never happen, there is not allot of logic in the industry other being cheap. But getting these under one roof to me would seem to be more cost effective.
Also I would think that Jinan and Jianshe have better engine plants, seems they could acquire Asia wing and then simply acclimate the larger engines into their own designs.
CCW just previewed the new Misfit 500cc today at their Homecoming:

I'M interested in the big bore kit for these bikes. Does it have a significant impact on the performance of the motorcycle?
I'm getting real interested in CCW and was wondering if this thread is dead since the last post was about 7 months ago.
Morning all, happy riding from south africa
