Re: Hallo from Denmark :)
Hi Marcus, welcome.
Cool, if you rebuild the bike properly using the correct Suzuki torque settings, threadlocker and grease it will be a better bike than it was new, as most Chinese factories are very lazy with their assembly.
Should be a fairly reliable bike for you, especially if you can keep it garaged, good luck.

Yep, well noticed, starter is on the front of the GS in most years but not all. But yes it looks like a Honda engine.
Interesting though, not sure if he should do Honda or Suzuki torque specs on the rest of the bike.
Re: Hallo from Denmark :)
I will keep it as standard as posible. Maybe make it look a little more sporty with other handlesbars, bar ends and such small details.
When assambled again i will give it a big service with new airfilter, gasoline filter, engine oil, sparks etc.
And it is a honda licensed engine like most of the chinese bikes.

One year later.
The frame and rims and fork and so on got profesionally sanded with sand and glass powder and paintet. I tried myself as you see in my last post, but it its imposible to get the rusty away without the rigth tools.
I had it startet for the first time today for a year. Its gonna be good :) still a long way to go.
