I would not call that a sport bike because of a) lack of power b) overal design.
It looks like a street bike, just very well designed. I bet it would be comfortable to drive with a good seat and no RR driving position.
Hell, I could buy that bike anytime and tour around Europe.
That bike is clearly a positive sight.

Under $1,3000.00 USD price in China
They really improved their websites. Chinese and English versions
That was me being cheeky calling it a sport bike, if you look over their offerings its the closest thing to a sport bike.
They are affiliated with Yamaha, I am guessing that Yamaha owns shares? They are in the South China Group. South China could sell its shares to Yamaha and begin to allow some changes to occur. But they likely will not.
Yamaha offers a nice standard but it is only a 125cc
http://www.yamaha-motor.com.cn/mc/pu...233605_519.jpg
I would like a larger version of the YB125SP with the 249cc engine that is currently in the YBR250, I would not feel foolish ridding across Europe on a that if it had the same style as the YB125 but larger and with the 249cc engine.
Found the "Yamaha".
http://www.jianshetrade.com/wm/en/im.../right_3_4.jpg
Lol they are so same.
I could tour around Europe anytime with 250cc version of this. To be honest I could do that with 125cc also and have a blast :lol8:
125cc is enough to move you and your stuff. But off course 250cc would be more preferable. You don't have to be so sorry of yourself when chicks are around if you have bigger than 125cc :lol8:
Re: Jianshe-Yamaha 重庆建设摩托车股份有限公司
This advertisement style in China and how it develops is rather interesting. I find this advertisement quite amusing but not bad.
http://www.jianshe.com.cn/uploads/%E...%E7%A8%BF1.jpg
Edit: Got it. Advertisement is good because it is in-line with the reality. That is, they advertise a toy bike.
It looks like advertisement for motherboard or graphic card. :lol8:
I would love to have an SR400 but they are not available to me, I would like to see a new bike between the SP125 and SR400 if made in China it could be affordable. I would rather have the SR400 but the engine is not in production in china so that is too much to ask for. But a 249cc version with the engine already in production in China is not to much to ask for.
SR400

I do not care what other people think I know what I want and why I want it, in this instance it’s a pragmatic request.
An SR200 is possible and so is an SR250, the SR400 is still in production in Japan.
If they want to turn around the numbers at Jianshe then maybe that approach could help?
That is a wise bike. And a beauty. Would be a joy to have one.
Suzuki TU250 is pretty close to this.
An interesting detail from Jianshe site - 110cc marked engine with horizontal cylinder.
http://www.jianshetrade.com/wm/en/im...lery/110cc.jpg
What's so interesting here? Unlike other 110 cc marked horizontals produced in China with Honda's roots, which have bore and stroke 52,4x49,5 mm (107 cc), Jianshe's horizontal has 49x54 mm (102cc), and evidently, different crankcase, head and layout of the engine mounts.

TU250 only color it comes in, I would not pay over $4,000.00 if I feel I need to paint it to like it.

ST250 Versions in Japan, I like it better.

I looked at the TU250 each time I was uninspired.
This is perfect for me...

No wonder. Linhai, as far as I know, uses Yamaha engines for their ATVs.

SR400
Ahh, yes of course I'd love a 400 like that too. The problem is that the industry generally think that there is no point making a 400. The base section of a 400 is much the same as a 600, therefore you only need to run a slightly longer wider bore to have a 600, meaning there is no real weight saving or reduction in manufacturing costs. Although I think this is a myth. In many ways we are up against a 'you must pay more for more engine cc' mindset.
I think there is some reason in Japan for the 400cc, something on the same lines as the reason for so many 125cc in Europe, a classification that makes them popular there.
This company and also Qingqi both part owned by China South Group are in deep financial trouble.
But what is interesting is that Yamahas partner makes less Yamaha products the Qianjiang does, which is not partnered with any Japanese manufacturer. It is like in full blown fuck fest they even seem to fuck themselves? I wonder how bad it really is how do they get the designs, do they threaten people that have access to be spies for them? I see lots of stealing going on.

Here is the new Jianshe, it’s the JS150-31

http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...7e154dfeec.jpg
It will have a 149cc SOHC water cooled 4-valve single with 17HP/ 8,500rpm and 15N.m / 7,500rpmm
It will be EFI a system they refer to as the iBEAT II.
The bike is a version of the 2008 YZF R15 2.0 manufactured by Yamaha India.
There will also be an air cooled version 150cc that will be offered, it may have the same engine offered in the Yamaha FZS offering around 14hp.
Both are rumored to already be in production and scheuled for release this year.
Here is a link to the new Jianshe, it contains some errors in that it claims the bike a 125cc however the images have it as a JS150-31.
Here is a link to the air cooled version of that bike, JS150-32.

No updates yet on their new engines, they are rumored to be in development and are higher output engines.

Yamaha Jianshe have the clearest most concise website of all…
The two in tandem hold the sixth position within the fifty largest producers of motorcycles in China.
They have 5% of the total market and had marginal growth of 0.03% for the first half of 2013.
Yamaha’s Chinese website links directly to its partners site Jianshe, that has a link to China South Industriesgroup.
The retro 125 offered up by Hanway has a Jianshe 125.
Motorien is rumored to be importing these, they are the Iberian importer for Daelim and Hyosung.
