That's quite the windshield, How's the bike for power?
That's a nice looking ride and a a clean photograph. How much did she set you back?
CC
P.S. Don't be afraid to give everyone a good ol' introduction in the "You and your CMoto" section.
Hey guys,
Thanks for the compliments.
The windshield is great it's just the right height and width to deflect the air over your helmet and off your hands. It has plenty of power for me. I just needed/wanted a bit more than the 55 mph my 150 scooter would give. We went to look at 250 scooters, saw the bike and fell in love with it. My wife actually was the one who later negotiated the deal with them and had them hold it and then deliver just before Christmas last year. She paid $1,425.00 plus taxes and state fees. I really love riding it out here in the boonies. We can ride for 40-50 miles and only see one or two cars. My wife has a really cool looking Roketa MC-12 and is now thining about a Qlink V5 automatic.
Here's a couple pics of my street that I tour around China with. 1969 BMW R69S with '78 1000cc motor, 1984 front disc brake setup, 1971 rear drive, pulling Donghai sidecar.

A bit late, but this is the bike I was puchased in Wuhan in 2005. Had it for about 7 months and sold it before I left. 1994 GSX400RR. Overweight, crappy rubber and got me into a bit of trouble, but tons of fun all the same.
When I returned for a week in 2006, my old fellow riders were nice enough to give me a bit of time on this derestricted 97 Aprilia RS125.
Taimur,
Where did you live in China?
CC
Hi Carl,
I was in Wuhan late 2004-mid 2005. Those pics were all taken there. Note the GSX400RRs color change! :naughty:
just want to share some pictures of my XGJAO 150cc sports, It is locally known as Yamaguchi Hurricane150.

Chinabikeman, when you create a post you can hit the "http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/im...tor/attach.gif" button and upload/attach images to the post. These attached images will display in the post. This is an easier way to post images without you having your own web space somewhere. That said, generally, having your own web space allows the most flexibility in the long run.

i have a kinroad 250

Hensim 250. 1400 km so far and no problems. It's a smooth and quiet little bike but pretty low on power, topping out at about 60 mph on flat ground. The engine is basically a Honda Rebel 250 clone but with some differences. Frame is a copy of the Suzuki GZ250. It does well around town, gets great gas mileage, and is pretty comfortable.Attachment 1347
Hugemoth... GZ250 frame with a Rebel 250 engine... now THAT'S open source China-motos for you right there! :lol8:
Do you think the top speed problem is a power issue or gearing issue?
CC
It's a power issue, rated at 16.3 hp on a 300+lb bike. The engine appears to be designed for high gas mileage and low emissions. Single small CV carb, catalytic converters, mild cam. Power drops off at about 6500 RPM where an engine this size really should run 9000. I dropped the rear sprocket from a 32 to a 30 tooth which is about right for the power curve.
Nice looking "made in China" Street Bike. It's cool.
