the bike is RR DD350e-6c
Only thing i did was remove the back rest, then after wards would like to go around anywhere and it wont start. I have open the lock and switch it on, usually the lights will turn on, but it didnt, tried again and again, i suspect battery but the bike is only 5 days old. it dont have a kickstart so cannot start manually. i have a charger but the owners manual is in chinese and I timbudong.
any guys here have the same model of bike
This most probably means there's a short circuit somewhere .. check the electric wiring. Check that no cable is touching the frame unshielded.
Can anyone chip in with a more systematic approach to troubleshooting electrics on a bike? I know how to use a multimeter, but I don't know what to look for on a bike. This is a typical situation that could happen in the rain for example.
2 mechanics from the dealer have come one in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, theyre conclussion is.... battery died, they will charge it and if it dont work i must buy a new battery and it is not covered in warranty even for the transportation for them from the dealers shop to my house and vice versa has charge me 50 rmb. ask me to pick up the battery tomorrow. will see.....
What's the verdict?
installed the battery and its starting. just the battery.

Just got the same model bike different brand but they are a generic bike that gets re branded. Mine is a Laro Prostreet 350 but the model is DD350E-6C
Battery I'm pretty sure is gone. Holds charge for a while but go back a day or 2 later and it's dead again. Had to Jump start it the other day by rolling down my street in neutral and tapping it into 2nd and releasing clutch at about 10-20kms.
Got it last week second hand. Not sure what it's going to set me back for a new battery in Australia.
alternator maybe cannot recharge the batt.... thats what happened to my bike, change alternator to new one, everything works as good as new.

Last Ride: started fine rode from work 5mins down road just fine. Stopped and put fuel in. Switched on and nothing not even EFI kicking in was like the electrics were dead.. Clutch started and cut off in second gear twice. Kept cutting out if I let down the revs to change gear or just random mly while riding along. Stopped 2mins down road after cutting off in 90km zone. Rode to another servo 5mins down the road kept revs up to get there. Had started it a few times no drama. Turned it off when I got t service and then again dead nothing when I switched the bike on.
Now today nothing no life no clutch start.
Any ideas?
Forgot to add it did turn on and start again after that stop at the servo and then went OK for a while and was cutting off again just cruising along few times and had to clutch in and out to restart it while still rolling in traffic.

Check the engine stop switch in side stand. It is often that this part switch engine off randomly.
Ended up figuring it out. New battery had a dead cell. Didn't think that would be the problem as I had just purchased the battery and was working.
