Found this quirky little four wheeled sport bike on Shineray product line up. I kind of wish companies with such tremendous manufacturing capabilities would stop producing dozens to types of odd machines and focus on maybe 3 or 4 type in each category that would yield long term profits and market share capture.
Anyway, here's our latest 350cc hybrid of mystery! :confused1:

Hmmm. A tall 4-wheeler that doesn't lean into curves. That sounds like a product liability lawsuit waiting to happen. . .
I agree, they're wasting their time producing quirky things like that.

This shows that the Shineray management like cars!

I can see a bunch of executives thinking..
Exec A: "Hmmm...now how can we make this bike more like a car?"
Exec B: "Yes! That is a great idea. You are a genius sir!"
Then the head scratching ensues and two years later we have this.
Now that was a strange idea, lost Honda millions, mostly in the American legal system! :lol8:

True enough. It wasn't just these but all the three wheeled ATV's were found to flip over too easily. Unfortunately I never rode one so can't comment... either way, they certainly lost some money on it.
I'm curious what places (countries) still sell the three wheeled ATVs?

Plenty of three wheeled road vehicles around here, mostly blue single cylinder trucks and 150cc motorcycles. Anyone ever thought that half grip on front as grip on rear would equal hideous under-steer? :lol8:

As far as ATV's go I think that 4 wheels is the modern norm. Certainly no shortage of three wheeled vehicles in China. I think the reason for them is simple manufacturing and maintenance while still being able to carry a good sized load relative to it's power/displacement.
I think I found a winner....:eek2:
I was browsing around and just had to share this horrid pic. srsly WTH are these design people thinking?

Re: Shineray, AT-Sportbike Vehicle?
Awwww yeah! That's some sweeet madness right there! :lol8:
One thing you learn about China while living in China is you'll never be able to understand some of the things you see and this is a fantastic example. If I had to guess though, it was designed by someone who has some sort of engineering degree with no real interest, passion or understanding for the sport.
That said, as retarded as it may look, in the middle of nowherez America or Europe there's some dude who would see this things and be like "Oh man that's a hot machine." :eekers:
The other thing you learn about Americans after being gone for a while is we'll race anything. If it has an engine and a seat, and not even necessarily in that order ... we'll race it.

I love that ATV, I own one for about 2 months and it's awesome to drive it on the streets. It's very stable while drifting. I hope to see it with a bigger engine next summer.

Great to hear you're riding one! We'd LOVE to know just about anything you can tell us about it!
If you know any video links, it would also be great. I'd like to see how it rides.

Sasha, in Serbia we have a small importer of Shineray ATV's (http://www.nsquadextreme.co.rs/). I saw a plate on the tail where it is written in Cyrillic "For sale", and so I jokingly asked how much is green dragon. By the way, you selling only Shineray ATV's or bikes to?
