QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
I got a rear rack for my Qlink XF200 from Carl and he asked me to post some pictures. I had to figure out how to mount the turn signals as they point kind of funky when re-bolting to the rack. I ended up reversing the direction of the mounting bracket after squareing them up a bit in my vice. This points the signals the wrong way so I took off the lenses and pulled the bulb. I then pulled the plastic housing out of the rubber part and turned them the right way. It's not a perfect fit as there is a gloove and slot that mates the parts together but it holds. I wrapped some electrical tape around the joint to make sure it stays. The lenses have to be swapped as they have small notches in them for water drainage. The bolts supplied are ok for the front mounts but need to be a little longer for the back so I replaced those. The original ones for the grab rails can be re-used without any problems. The rack fits perfect . I know that ChinaV had some problems with the one he got for his new 250;

All and all I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and price. Thanks again Carl!
....I want those foot pegs that ChinaV has next....

Much thanks Dave! See what happens once people find out you got skillz? :lol8:
Looks good and I'm glad it fits up just right. That said, I got 8 left and available for anyone who be interested.

P.S. - Don't be surprised if the title of the post changes a little to make it more search friendly. :icon10:

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Hi Carl, Do you still have one of those racks left and how much do you want for it.
-
Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Fitted mine as well. I re-used the longer rear bolts removed from the grab handles as well.
I looked at my indicators and their brackets for ages, considered making some new ones, but in the end I found a generous length of connecting wire attaching them. This enabled me to move them further rearward, drill two holes in the plastic mudguard and attach them there close to the rear light fitting.
The rack is magnificent, very strong, with built-in grab handles and a plastic coated finish that won't chip off like paint or need polishing like chrome.
Thanks for obtaining them for us Carl.

i also ended up remounting them to the rear fender in China but then the signals pointed inward. I wonder if it would be possible to take block of rubber and make a small wedge to offset the andle of the
fender?

When I discovered that Qingqi fitted racks to some of their models but not the ones imported to Spain, I found the part number, found some actual photos and sent them to Qingqi Iberica the Spanish importer. I told him that if he brought them and sold them as an accessory he would probably sell as many as bikes and make a little money too. Everyone would want one. Never even got a reply.

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Yes forchetto, in qingqi iberica don´t have them.
In Valladolid (my town) don´t have qingqi reseller, buy they are Meko (clone of qingqi). I go this, but aren´t too.
I search internet, and in some resellers they are this part.
I will keep you.
Regards.

QM200GY-B(A) with Yamaha XT250 rear rack
Hi folks,
In Canada I used a rear rack from Yamaha XT 250, the part number IQG00671YS00, available to any Yamaha dealer or from yamahagenuineparts.com
I had to cut the rear fender and the side panels to fit it. It is a little bit tricky to mount, but here you can see the result:

Hey that looks pretty good!
Is that the stock tail light/rear fender?

Yes, everything on the bike is original for the QM200GY-B (A), except the Yamaha rear rack, Acerbis hand guards, and the Harris crossbar protection. You can see in the photo the rear of the bike before modifications:

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Glad it arrived and installed okay. It really baffles me that they don't request racks be installed on these bikes before they're crated. :confused1:
As always, if you gotz any pictures I'd be glad to see them! :icon10:

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Hello all,
Got my rack from Carl last week and put it on. The vendor of my bike had moved the turn signals at the suggestion of the factory and I just had to move them back to their original position. I put the enduro tires on it today as well. I think the rack is going to be mega handy. Here are a couple of pics of the rack and the enduro tires.

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
I wonder if these racks would fit my Kinlon SM200? Look to be the ant pants! Cheers Will.

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Unfortunately I don't think they will as the frame and mounting point are different. If you can take a picture or have a look at your possible mount points, it would help.

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Hey Guys....
Sorry for the slack reply. I don't have any for sale but have inquired into getting more.
Sometimes the responses aren't so forthcoming from the other side of the ocean so I unfortunately can't give you any dates but I will try to get some on shore. I will definitely keep you guys posted on its availability on this thread.
If anyone wants to help out, send me PM with other parts you may like to see. Please send a PM only, or this thread may drift.

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Does anybody have any other luggage rack options or suggestions they could offer for the Qlink XF200, American version of these bikes?
-
Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
Moon, check out the 12th post of this thread. KSM200 used a Yamaha XT250 rack to fit his Konker...the Canadian version of the Qlink.

Is that the only options I have? That's kind of pricey for a rack in general, let alone a makeshift one for the bike. I understand this is one of the downfalls of buying a chinese bike, lack of accessories. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Re: QLink/QingQi rack...cause Carl asked me to
I too bought one of these racks from Carl (he's da man). Anyhoo, I used all the same bolts to install. It took a few minutes to figure out the tail lights but all went together in about 20 minutes. Much more sturdy. Now if I can just get my inflatable canoe and all the fixins on the back I'll be ready for some serious "off-road" adventures!
