Some noise coming from inside my engine case. I'm sure it is the clutch. When the clutch is engaged and I am not on the throttle or under engine breaking situations there is some chatter coming from the clutch.
Any ideas on a fix?

Is it a chatter or a knock?

Chatter
high pitch like "ting" or low pitch like a "racka".

like a racka racka racka rop...oh yeeee...ah
This thread is funny :P, sorry to hear about the potential bike troubles... Maybe it would be easier if you could record the noise or something? Although the discussion trying to describe it is fun too...
Maybe loose clutch basket?

I'll give some dude 5 kuai to crack'er open soon.
Do you feel this is the beginning of the end (of your clutch) or just a glitch?
BTW I like the Art of Noise of Mister CC.
It is something loose inside the engine case itself. I really have to open it and take a look. I'll post some pics and let you know what I find out.

Mike we should check it out together, it sounds exactly like what is going on with my bike.
Edit: I took mine to a couple of shops and all that was needed was tightening down all the bolts and such, now it shoots like a rocket!
Glad to hear it wad a simple problem. Methinks they should have been torqued at the factory. Hmmmm...
Might be worth going over some of your critical nuts n' bolts before leaving on your epic journey!
