ACDNate has a 150 that is a SMC. You might find some information here;

Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
yer i have read the website and his thread and it is of some use but i still am not quite sure about the exaust coz i am new to bikes i dont wanna start cuttin bits up just to realize i cant put it bac on lol wat i want to do is decat the front header pipe and fit a new can but the whole system is one long pipe with the can welded on i think correct me if im wrong
Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
One long pipe with the can welded on? I guess it's possible but pretty unusual.... usually there's a joint in there somewhere. If you haven't already, I would take off the plastics and do a physical trace of the pipe and make sure there are no joints.

ok will do btw how do i put pics up on here and any ideas about the front header
many thanks

Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
I'm not seeing a "cat bulge" at the header pipe on these bikes so I think that the eviro stuff is in the can. Check for a joint there as Carl suggests. If you replace it with a more free flowing one you might have to go up one size on your jet...or not. Being a 125cc you might not have to.

Hi mate. I also have the same bike. I'm no expert on exhausts so can't be of any help on that front. I've just ordered new bolts for the rear sprocket as one fell off, maybe a good idea to check if you haven't already.
Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
Hi, i have also just purchased one of these bikes off of my step dad, i needed a cheap run around to get to work and back, and i know he had looked after it. However its sooo slow, does anybody know whether this bike would be restricted, my friends have 125's and they hit 70+mph, i struggle at 55-57mph. if they are restricted how do i go about de-restricting it? thanks
Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
its 4 stroke air cooled so its a very laid back engine its going to be either based off a CG or CB 125 engine, 4 stroke 125 engines are very rare to be deristricted i can only think of 6 and there either a minarelli WR125 engine or a Derbi DB125 engine and both of those are liquid cooled 4 valve engines that are just capped to meet learner restrictions.
you could jet up the carb so its a richer mix but then it'll run hotter more likerly to be unreliable from this, change the carb to a bigger one same pro and cons, a unrestricted CDI so it revvs higher but tehn you could blow it and the heat thing once again.
safest thing for more speed is sprockets but gearing it up has its downsides aswell taking longer to get to the top speed and loosing some low down torque and you'll really feel the reduced torque especially in head winds.
a 150cc bore kit could work for some more 00mph
Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
ok thanks for the info, any ideas on if any body makes nobblys for offroad use for supermoto bikes? if so how do i find out if they will fit my smc? i went down a lane today and slid everywhere lol
Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
the best option i would say is go for dual sports which arent as extreme that way it still handles well on the road and can do the odd green laning just look up the numbers on the front and rear tyres and reference them to manufacturers to see if they make that size

where would i find such a kit? lol
Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
check ebay for a CB 150cc kit but if your bike is based of a CG125 engine would hvae to be a CG150 head

Re: does any one have any information about this bike SMC yb125
to me it looks like a CB replica engine as the head doesnt look like a pushrod style CG engine, your bike was built by Galaxy motorcycles which also supply pitster pro in the US here is a 15-cc version for offroad use only

if you really want to be ambitous its possible to bore all the way up to 200cc
http://motor.mortch.com/products/str...200/cb200.html
according to AJP which use Taiwanese made CB copy engines there 200cc makes just under 18bhp
