We didn't do much night riding so i can't comment extensively on it, but he told me he was very happy with it for the money. From what i did see it lit the road up a fair bit more than my XTR headlight. (but that's not hard)
I May order mine up today - I think this will change the look of the normal XF200 Up Front - Anyone with a XF200 or Similar model running a aftermarket headlight? Are these hard to swap out?
Here's what I have on mine now. It's like a Yamaha 450 headlight. It comes in orange but I painted it flat black. I'm currently running a 45watt bulb but will try a 60 watt next spring and watch to make sure it does't melt the lens. I had to create mounts for it. It wasn't to hard, though. Two brackets off of where the turn signals mount and a welded and drilled hinge at the bottom. I put it on as the stock light is only 35 watts with no adjustablity nor venting.
OOooo, that's nice looking! Looks like the factory piece, but better.
I currently have no bulb in the headlight of my QM 250, and a headlight mod might be just the ticket! Obviously won't be sourcing any Yamaha 450 headlights here in China... but I think I've now got a good model of what I'd like.
There's an orange one hanging in my garage, maybe I will make you deal when you come to get your bike... if it's still here :lol8:Quote:

Those reflectors have always looked like the little track light halogen dealies you can get at Lowes or Home Depot. Wonder if they can actually throw and light?

I believe they are 35w Each. If there like the track lighting I have in my store They outta be pretty bright.

Looks good, but isn't this just a 25 watt bulb? You not going brighter?
Would be sweet to keep the stock turn signals and stick a couple small round lamps where the signals are. More light plus a unique face.

Not Sure Jape - What is a T19 Bulb? Do you know? I'm clueless! Hehehehe. I probably won't do alot of night riding, but maybe I can put a brighter bulb in? CC- I like the idea very much - in Fact I was thinking the same thing! The Turn Signal bulbs are a G11 Bulb. I'll start my review when the headlight comes in soon. Barnone - I just got my Jets today from JetS-R-Us - Hopefully in January or February I hope to purchase my Pro Circuit System then. Will keep you posted on that too......Merry Christams to you!
I think T19 is the type of fitting. I had a look on Google and they come in 25w and 35w. I will be pleased to see how they perform compared to the existing as I want to change mine from normal incandescent 25w bulb sometime because they don't last.
I started looking at my NEW Headlight today It ought to be pretty easy to swap out, Infact it's already mounted but that was the easy part. The NOT so easy part is changing the wirring clip and bulb clip around. I got pics today but left the damn camera at work. Maybe tomorrow I will remeber to bring it home so i can post them. In fact when I do I'm needing some good advice from the pro's on here, as to suggested wiring options. I will post and start a NEW Thread on the project. Peace.

The original Light has a female Plug. The Bike has a male plug in the wiring harness
The NEW Light has a male plug. Both have the same amout of wires - but different colors.
