Help new member with KINLON SUPERMOTARD MOD DETAILS PLS URGENT
Hi all,
new to this forum, found you all in a google search, as I was hunting mods for my kinlon,
there was not much at all out there,
But i read thoroughly the threads on mods to my model kinlon,
had it for sometime, but finally decided to dust the cobwebs off it and register it today for summer for the first time,
Its a 2008 Kinlon Supermotard in black, already removed plate holder, lights, mirrors,
retrofitted, small indicators, brake light and tidy tail which I made myself, looks much better already,
but i have a few questions,
noticed a few people have altered the standard exhaust,
Is it possible to just cut it off directly at bottom of silencer, im just after a better note, will this be too loud?
have also noticed someone shorten there baffle and refit the end chrome tip, but how is this done if it is riveted in?
Ive noticed the airbox mod has been done by a few, but what exactly it is, is it just removal of the cover on top of the airbox under seat, or actual removal of total airbox and fitment of pod style filter?
Understand this isnt the fastest bike in the world, but for the price there a great little bike,
with a few of the above mods, will look much better and sound + run better aswell.
Have the day off tomorrow so wanted to finish it all then, anyone can help me out with some answers greatly appreciated
thanks.

123,
If the Kinlon is the same as th Qlink XF200 then go to
http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showt...yno-results%29
for some tuning info and dyno runs.
I'm getting ready to dyno my Q before and after jets and can change and will report results soon.

IM just about to check your thread barnone, but it looks close, cosmetically slight differences but the engine, exhaust and running gear looks identical apart from mine runs rear discs.
Heres the link carl, its the black model down the bottom,
has pics of exhaust there too.
let me know, thanks

123,
Your version looks better especially with the rear disk.
Re: Help new member with KINLON SUPERMOTARD MOD DETAILS PLS URGENT
Ok just made it through your thread mate, I like what you did with it,
Do you not have to run a liscence plate night light on the rear is the US?
Love the orange, youve talked me into taking the stickers off mine aswell,
few q's,
Im going to get hold of a cheap uni filter, looks like you just need to get your measurement directly off the jet then itll go straigt on after removing the whole box first?
Im also going to look to get hold of a cheap uni exhaust slip on, cut the factory straight off and slip it on, do you know if running it without silencer at all is too loud, was thinking of just welding a small flange
onto the end of pipe, cut it down low near the footpeg, like you see on r6's ?
As for the jets i can pick it up off ebay for cheap, but can you tell me if a 127.5 there is any specific make or brand I need to get, or is it universal fit for all models not specific to suzuki etc + is it easy job to fit and do you only need the one jet is that it?
Oh yeah lastly the rear break tail tidy your running, how are we all mounting them to the rear subframe, are we welding them on or? Ive got mine bolted to the old whole where I took the huge tail plate off but I want to tuck it into the back more + where did you get your brake light for the rear?
thanks guys

Mt tail light has a license plate light .

I used an aluminum angle piece to mount the taillight to the existing bolts under the tail.

Seems to me that some have to improved on the air box on the Qlink XF200 but went back to th stock air box and filter.
Running without a muffler would be very loud. Even my short muffler is too loud. I'm trying this one next.

My CF200 has a Mikuni carb but not sure about yours. Suzuki DR200 jets fit mine.

Check the following link for exhaust mods on the Qingqi 200. Go to post #9 and you'll see both bikes have quite similar cans on the end... one is even disected a bit.

Re: Help new member with KINLON SUPERMOTARD MOD DETAILS PLS URGENT
Finished the pipe off today, actually was alot easier It has to seperate changes, just cut it in half installed the chrome end tip and remounted using the lower bracket, simple fix really
is at least double the noise now, wouldnt want it any louder, and didnt cost me a cent, looks factory too.
Just waiting to hear any news on the jetting though?
Anyone changed over the front headlight plastics to a different model?
cheers.
