Open Track Day events for Motorcycles at the F1 Circuit
I am seeking riders in Shanghai, and surrounding provinces and cities, who would like to ride on the Shanghai International Circuit (F1 circuit). An occasion to test the max potential of your motorcycle in a safe environment, to improve your riding skills and/or hopefully to learn and practice the sport of road racing onto a MotoGP grade international circuit.
We meet up monthly and organize our own open track days for motorcycles. On a typical track day, riders meet up at the F1 circuit in early morning, enjoy 3 to 4 riding sessions of 20min each during the day. Other than that, we enjoy chatting, sharing riding experiences, tuning our bikes, seeing some of the fastest machines, supercars/exotic cars and superbikes in the region, etc etc! Plenty to do for the motorsport fans out there (a Costa Coffee with sofas and wifi is on site if you dare to become bored!).
The day’s sessions are breakdown into 3 categories (touring cars, formula cars, and motorcycles). Motorcycles alone gets minimum 3 sessions per day but can sometimes get 2 sessions in the morning and 2 sessions in the afternoon (4 total). All depending if we are many riders or not. The cost of one (20min) session is RMB200 (per person). This allows you to ride your motorcycle on the circuit 3 or 4 times in one day for a period of 20min each time (-or- 8 laps of 2m30s each -or- 45km).
Riders will have access to a pit garage which include all the necessary facilities (toilet, running water, resting area, changing room, electricity and security). The cost of the pit garage is RMB1,000 per day and shared among the riders attending the track day (e.g. 10 riders = RMB100 each per day for pit rental). Friends, families, kids, photographs are allowed in the pit garages and lane at no extra cost.
Basic track riding coaching, do & don’t, tips & tricks, recon laps & race lines will be provided for the first time riders for FREE. We also have experienced road racers on site with us who are always more than happy to share their extreme riding secrets and techniques. Also a perfect occasion to learn about correctly setting up your suspension for your weight and riding style, adjusting foot and hand controls, and how to get the most out of your motorcycle.
We can advise on transport to and from the circuit, accommodation (hotel), offer pit rental and provide track-session tickets. We also have a permanent storage area at the circuit where we keep our track bikes if, like some of us, you would like to keep your motorcycle(s) & gears on site for the season (if road racing is what you wish to pursue as a sport in Shanghai!).
To participate, you need: your own motorcycle, tires and brakes in good condition, protection gears e.g. helmet, gloves, boots, one or two piece leather suit, and about RMB1,000 for a full day of pure fun. You’ll also need a good night sleep before and after your track day event!

Would be great to see an MCM track day... sidecars included! Come to think of it... ESPECIALLY the sidecars.

Man that seems really amazing! I know they have something similar at Barbers in the states but I've never been able to try it. Still, I doubt I'll be able to get a chance to try that any time this year.
Are motorcycle and suite rentals also possible?

25/12 is out of the question due to xmas day brunch with family and mates but very keen to have a look around on 04/12. Looking forward to see more details posted, thank you.
