have you put in a bigger Con rod ?
Hi
No I dind't. I just changed the cylinder and the piston.
It's too soon to say if the change worth it, because now I can't use the full throttle. However now I feel the bike with more power.
There is a video:

Cheers
Fair play but dont push it too far like red line every gear because the bigger the piston and bore the more effort the con rod has got to do, the con rod thats in there is built to be used with a 125 kit obviously with a bigger piston it has more load to push.
be careful :P hehe
Did you need to change the jets or just adjust the mix could you let me know, thanks, also how come you can't use the full throttle? Where would you get a bigger con rod? and how hard is it to fit?
im not sure about the jets and where to find the con rod but i know they can snap under too much constant pressure :/ sorry cant be any more helpful :/
Congratulations on the modification.
I remember reading about a susuki gs 150 crankshaft with longer stroke and with the cylinder of 62mm, it is possible to get 175cc, there is also a kit for 6 speed, I'll search again and post here.
I think a good idea leave the richer mix to help with cooling.
I ask if you measured the compression cylinder.
Thanks for the pictures and for sharing with everyone.
"Fatty"'s bike still going strong after ~16K km after 150 kit (BUT that's a Suzuki:naughty:) http://motorcycle.sh.cn/viewthread.p...108220&page=17
There also another way to 150 by using Genuine Suzuki parts. Some camshaft in 150 (EN150/ GSX150/ GZ150) had different stroke that matches
175: http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/t_551530.htm  The final is using 65.5 (191cc) http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/view...php?tid=664083
That 6-speed is from EN125-2
Hi
Humanbeing but we can fit the 6-speed in a pulse adrenaline without a large modification on the engine?
I'm very interested in that.
Luis Carlos I didn't measure the cylinder compression, but I can feel that is higher that stock for sure.
cheers
Humanbeing Thanks, exactly what I read, the guy did an excellent report.
unfortunately I can not translate what is written in the images.
This link is a 6-speed kit:

"Draw" it in http://www.nciku.com
Diffeence btw 5 & 6: http://www.motoyes.net/bbs/viewthrea...&extra=&page=3
There's also other seller in taobao.com | Their photo showed Suzuki part # | GN125 used had 6-speed in some model BUT parts costs much MORE in west...

Ans: Time is like cleavage, squeeze & u will get some
Hi
Humanbeing thank you for your help!
the nciku.com is a very usefull tool!
Sorry for my ignorance, but to change to 6 speed, we have only to add a sprocket in the gear box? I already tried to use google chrome translation to understand the links in chinese, but I didn't understand what it's needed to make the change from 5 to 6 speed.
If it is a simple modification, maybe I'll try to make it.
I think that my bike with 6 speed will improve a lot.
Thank you
Most importat/ difficulties in this mod = "Q&A" : #43 & #45 in above "motoyes" link
Study HARD the DR125/ RV125 (NOT the early 2 stroke / It's 2003 onwards) service/ parts manual -How to assembly 4 these "6" machine IF u don't get the idea from above link (#41 = Driven #42= Drive) :naughty:
Have you run the 150 kit in yet? how is it? did you need to adjust the mix or change jets? what exhaust did you use? thanks
Hi
Yes I already have the 150cc kit in it!
I think the bike now have more power, now most of the time I use the 5th gear. I want to change the sprocket, because I want a little more top speed.
I changed the jets, now I have #105 main jet, but I want to try a bigger one, #110 or #115!
cheers
150 big bore kit is worth every penny.
Superfamous, this website can help you calculate tooth of sprockets. http://www.gearingcommander.com/. Mine increase 10% top end speed.
Sorry about posting in an old thread but does anyone have any idea on what postage I can expect to pay when I order my big bore kit from taobao; I don't want any nasty supprises.
It's 2-2.5kg depends who packs it.
You can checks this "frowarder" http://www.sendfromchina.com/ that many fleabay seller are using for int'l rate. Compare taobao "agent"s... int'l rate b4 place the "order".
The "kit" is from Shandong that uses http://www.ems.com.cn/mainservice/em...i_kuai_di.html. Most agent are Guangdong based (1,8??km away). If the Shanghai based (8?? km) agent's Int'l rate is suitable, order with them to save time.
Thanks for that, so I'm looking at about £30 for delivery then. I'll probably wait until I get some more cash together then.
