Sold my JH600 for 40% of what I bought it for 11 months before :confused1:
Now home in Pattaya with my modified Harley Davidson XR1200 :riding:

Kind of puzzled as to why you sold your JH600 for 40% of the original purchase price? Heck, if you had posted it here I would have given you at least half of what you paid so I could send it to be farkled by Pfaelzer. :lol8:

Sorry,there is no cure for MBS (Multiple Bike Syndrome) but death. I was down to owning one bike not long ago but am now up to five and climbing. At least I am now buying less expensive bike,

My last 2 years in Xinhui was as Quality Director for Foster Wheeler Power's primary boiler shop exporting power generation equipment world-wide.
In a few weeks looks like I will be returning to Wuhan, China on contract with another company to develop/improve their quality system/personnel for a few years.
I will come say hello if I ever visit Pattaya and if you let me try that HD. I haven't ever tried a HD :eek2:

Looks like I'll be in Wuhan for a long term contract starting later this month so... I'll most likely be looking for a "made-in-China" 250 to get out of "Wonderful" Wuhan on weekends :dirtbike:
Keep us posted, Bob. I'm keen to have a look at Wuhan -- China's industrial crossroads -- and I've heard a lot of good things about the life there, with the major caveats of the pollution and witheringly humid summer heat. You may find you like it there.

Yeah, I have heard those stories. Some of my friends visit annually Thailand and one my friend is going to marry one "back-rider" soon, I think. She has been 1/2 year in Finland and is coming again this summer. I reserved the rights to be a wedding photographer.Quote:

Thought about going through Pakistan and Afghanistan, but yes, China is a possibility too. If there is no route then one needs to find a route. If it means riding through China so be it :)

I am a Canadian working in China since 2004, I've been the last 5 years in Wuhan. I worked mostly in automotive manufacturing as egineering manager as more recently plant manager and GM.
Last year I bought a used KTM450exc in China (in neighboring province), I have it here in Wuhan. Did you get a dirt/enduro bike yet ? It would be great to catch up .. hopefully you are still in Wuhan. I am in Hanyang district (place called Golden Harbour)
