Hi. This is great a forum for CF Moto owners. I hope that there are some people out there that can point me in the right direction for parts in this country. I found the site by accident looking for a kevlar drive belt. Nice to be here.

I doubt you are in the US, but if you are:

Thank you euphonius. The country I'm in is the UK (the back water of Europe)
Hi culcune. No I'm not in the US, I'm sure if I was I would'nt be having the trouble getting parts for my CF.
A quick Ebay search for "Cfmoto belt" turned up a couple affordable results. Not sure which model you have but it's worth a try.

Thanks crazycarl, I'll have a look . By the way it's a 250-T V5.
Theyh got one here...

Also, when you get a sample, it may be worth comparing it with a Honda Helix 250 drive belt. Your motor is essentially the same as a Honda Helix 250. If it matches up, please let everyone know!

Thanks again, I've just ordered one. I will let you know if it's the same as the Honda Helix 250 drive belt.
CC and Ebay to the rescue.

Dear humanbeing. Thanks for the info I have ordered a belt from scrappydogscooters.com, which accroding to them is a replacement part. Only time will tell, I'll let you know if I have to seen it back.
Miffy, you should be okay. HB is saying they are different belts so, if you check, don't be surprised if they aren't the same.

How much did they charge for shipping? Just curious as I know it's not a large or heavy part, but for these pesky parts it could be a god-send for people (like you) not able to find parts locally.
I ordered one of these belts for my V5 last year after my stock belt broke. The new belt lasted a whole 370 miles before it shredded and left me walking my bike a mile home. I contacted their customer support, and they wouldn't stand behind their product.
Buyer beware, you get what you paid for.
My wife and I had a scooter in China which also shredded belts. The problem wasn't the belt but the pulley it was attached too wasn't variating properly. Did you fix the problem with a correct belt?
CC
I assumed it was the belt since the original one lasted several thousand miles. I've been looking for a Kevlar belt, but haven't had any luck finding one reasonably priced. I haven't been able to ride since mid-summer last year. My local CF Moto dealer can't find belts either. I will look into getting the variator replaced to see if that helps the belt lifespan.
Find someone ships lighweight stuff if can't find locally
