Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
Next time it happens remove the gas cap and listen for a sucking sound.
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
ok what will that mean/do
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
Fuel tank vent is not venting.
If you gave up a clue as to the model of bike that would be a big help. Maybe a photo of the bike?
Some tanks are vented by the cap, others by a charcoal canister, or a hose.

Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
cheers for suggestions dude
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
wasnt my coil problems still occuring
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
check the electrics of the bike, well, have someone check the electrics for you, the box that tells the spark plug when to fire could be
1) buggered and not doing its job correctly.
2) not getting the power it needs to make the spark plug spark
of course you could try a spare battery,
it could also be that there is something waving around in your air intake box and periodically stops air getting in and so kills your engine.
i had a similar problem, i ended up replacing a couple of black boxes under neath the sear and on under the fuel tank.. no more problems with the bike.
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
changed the spark plug and then after a week and a half the plug was dead am now running with a cbr600 spark plug altho i feel as thon it might be going again and it HATES cold starting needs to run with the choke for at least 5 mins
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
humm, what was the color of the spark plug??? you can sometimes tell whats wrong by the color of the spark plug.
it could be the mix has sodded up some how....
sorry to see you arnt in china, if you had been here, you could take it to a local shop, pay 20 pounds and let them work on it for a couple of days straight until they found the problem. in the UK that would cost more than the bike :-S
Re: power problems ?!?!?!?!?
wonder if theres any chinese machanics near me LOL the colour of the last plug was black also a black oily residue around the outside of the plug hole itself
