Ja! A bloke called Thomas showed up for our coffee klatsch on Saturday and the bike is a real eyeful. Purred like a wildcat too, so she's an earful. Thomas is not (yet) in MCM but I think we persuaded him to post a review.
Cheers
Shit, still nothing from thomas then? What were his thoughts on it?
I still catch myself having impure thoughts about that bike now and then...
OK, Felix, here's a sneak preview. Perhaps Motokai or GRF_Hans has Thomas' contacts and can persuade him to post up a review?
By Thomas' telling, this is the first legally plated 650NK in Shanghai.

Now i have a semi. And the bike is pretty nice too...
Perhaps it is not the first or only one legally plated in SH. I saw a blue 650NK in front of a moto gear shop in the Xincun Lu 3 weeks ago. I tried to talk to the Chinese rider but he was kinda shy so there was no real conversation. But the bike looked like legally SH plated.
Starbucks is the Shanghai bikers bar?

i'd just like to say that i'm drooling just looking at this bike. that is all.
Looks better in BLACK . Orange &White just makes me think of a creamsicle (Go Easy Felix!)
Goto this link for bike details, which includes this 56.com video -- be sure to FAST FORWARD to the 3m15s mark of the video!~
Anyway, lots of other videos on Youku if you want a virtual test ride:
.....and while not a CF 650NK, this Loncin 650 video/ad is pretty damn cool! (Drool Ekki!)
[QUOTE=MotoKai;35496]Looks better in BLACK [QUOTE]
You mean looks DAMN!! good in black!
If just someone could guarantee me, that the compresion valve, the stator, the spark plugs, the fuel injection, the , the , the , are on a higher level then the normal Chinese made bike ..... I really admire the guy who buys a fresh one from the beginning of the production line.
Any idea on prices?
CFMoto will release the CF650TR - fully faired sport-touring model complete with rear integrated side panniers in November. Price yet not confirmed. While I have not seen the new motorcycle first hand I've looked at all the photos I can find online in detail, and I like what I see. Next month I will be getting to see one myself and making a decision about purchase at that time, based on what I see.
[QUOTE=998S;35514]Having had the opportunity to see, sit, touch a CF650NK both before and after release, and now my local dealer has one in stock, I can say that from what I can tell the quality is way better than the average Chinese made motorcycle, but then I've also been fortunate to see CFMoto's Hangzhou manufacturing operation first hand and it is impressive. All the other Chinese motorcycle manufacturing operations that I have seen over the years "can't hold a candle to CFMotos' operation"
I also took a gamble and bought a CF250T6A Jetmax maxi scooter ordered via my local dealer with a small CNY1000 deposit. I have to confess though, that I'd previously had a CFMoto CF250T-F VIP maxi scooter (Honda Helix clone) which I ordered specifically the export model via my dealer and paid a 30% premium compared to the same model for domestic sale. Luv'd the scoot, but wanted just something that sat a little higher (to see above vehicle roof lines) and a little more pep in the engine department in the top-end. Since I'd pre-ordered both of these scoot's sight unseen and having not been disappointed with either, I'd have no hesitation with ordering the 650 with small deposit upfront. I've been way more than happy with the Jetmax, and the quality has been as expected, way better than the average Chinese made moto. I might add that I've seen several CF650NK's, so my view is not based on just one example alone. In saying that, there are some differences between my Jetmax versus Japanese maxi scooters, and if one looks hard enough, one can find where the cost savings have been made. The plastics of the Jetmax are just an example of that, while they have not used cheap plastic often found on all manner of Chinese products (especially automotive), the Jetmax's plastics do lack the deep lustre of the plastics used by Japanese motorcycle manufacturers. The Jetmax lacks a park brake, which in my view is a real oversight, as is the lack of a trip-meter. The lack of a display for the MP3/FM radio is also a small oversight IMO.
So I would not hesitate to order a CF650NK sight unseen, and actually was almost going to, but with the impending release of the CF650TR I'm going to wait. My calls just in the past several days to CFMoto Hangzhou advised that expected release of the full fairing CF650TR will be November. I'm planning a trip with a mate to go to visit CFMoto to view the models on the assembly line. I will likely order one, though I am also buying a BMW R1200GS, so no room left in the garage at this stage.
My two fen's worth.
That was me. I'll hunt him down. And as MCM already has other CF650 threads (see below), let's reserve this space for Thomas.
By the way, I believe Thomas disagreed with many of the comments posted under the existing threads. So his perspective should be interesting.
1) CF Moto CF650 sport bike
2) CFMOTO 650 NICE PICS
Update: Thomas will comment here soon!
Therefore we should get a MCM moderator to correct the thread title - respect the CFMoto Owners!:deal:
BTW, a 650NK was stolen recently, and the distraught owner is offering a CNY10000 reward. I read the post in the CMotoclub forum the other night, Here's the link to the owner appealing for help
The 650NK was stolen in Nanjing and although it had one of the GPS anti-theft kits attached, it appears the owner had too lengthy a delay in its activation, and so the bike was gone by the time he went outside, to find it missing...
In the photos, one can note that his motorcycle has a rather unique black muffler, whereas standard these are a sliver coloured alloy.
The things i want to say about that bike would make my wife think i was having an affair
Hi!! These bikes is going to be launched in Argentina in January 2012.
I have a big expectation!!!
This month CFMoto will release the CF650TR which is the touring model of the 650NK. The 650TR comes complete with a full fairing, integrated side panniers and a choice of colours once production numbers get well under-way, though as I suspect as happened with the CF250T-6A Jetmax initially colours will be restricted to whatever production run is under-way at the time. The 650TR doesn't come with a centre-stand though which I feel is a big oversight for a touring style motorcycle. I'm planning a site visit to CFMoto coming later this month to expressly look at the 650TR in more detail.
A friend recently was able to test ride a 650NK on display/for sale at a local Suzuki dealership (who also sell other brands including CFMoto and Regal Raptor) . The friend liked it a lot, commenting specifically on its great handling and speed characteristics, and said that if was going to be staying here longer than his contract allows he'd likely buy one.
Try these photos here There are a lot of Chinese characters used so you may see lots of hieroglyphics if you don't have Asian fonts installed on your computer. Can't comment on the price for the 650TR as the price has not been officially set here yet.
I see Chinese fonts, but i canīt understand anything...
Anyway, nice pics!!!
Thanks
View the page through the Google Chrome browser and it'll offer to translate everything into your own language, which I'm guessing is espaņol. Quality won't be great but you'll be able to follow.
Have fun!

Back to the topic.
I really like the streetfighters but i like to travel. Thereīs not something between those models? (650nk and 650TR).
