pretty slick looking bike there, iv looked at UM bikes before and most of them are just rebadged Hyosung's good to see there venturing into other parts of the industry other than just rebadging
Likee likee, very nice
UM closed its USA distributions in 2009, they were selling Hyosung and still do, they sell the 250 and 650 race bikes.
I think these are interesting, the 233cc Xstreet has an oil cooler.
UM also offers a dual sport, that comes with a 125, 180 or 200cc engine.

Not exactly sure if UM still is distributing the Hyosung bikes, they do not list them in there model line. But I have seen them advertised wholesale….they may be old inventory? I would say the UM versions of those would then someday be collectors items.

Here are some for sale on Todomercado.com, which is Ebay’s partner in South America. http://www.todomercado.com/United-Mo...=1258138995818
Here are some images of the Fastwind.
They come with 125cc, 150cc, 180cc and 200cc OHC engines.

I would say that maybe UM buys from others and then assembles them?
UM has two new models for 2013, they look a lot like a HD Sportster, less the V-twin.
They call then the Renegade Sport and Duty.

http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...gade_Sport.jpg
They list them with a 169cc engine, 9.5HP.

I noticed this morning that Sporter-ish motorcycle. Note the two engines - one Tyan's OHC and another "classic" - balanced CG clone.
By the way, they also have HD WLA-ish bike called "Renagade Commando" - http://umglobal.com/en/index.php/cru..._commando_2013.

Very cute...
In fact, both are.
Yes I did notice the engines, the X-street they sell looks like it has the Tyan 223cc.
The Renegade Sport and Duty look like they are based on the Suzuki GN125 frame, they look they share the frame and engine with the Haojiang Tiger.
The Limited and Commando look very much like the Keeway Superlights.

I like how UM markets the CG125 models in three versions.
Seems to me that if these would be offered with the Tyan 223cc engine they would be very good commuters for the USA, that engine is one of the better engines offered. They could offer three version and could price them at around $2,500.00
http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...S/UM/three.jpg
The X-street is also being offered in Mexico by Vento for $2,999.00

http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...RATO/Black.jpg
I personally find these garish and overdone, they are putting a commuter engine in faux sport bike, it be better to tone it down as a standard and simply offer a better engine then typically offered in a CG125 frame.
It’s based on a GN125 frame I believe, they are ok but the rake on the front forks
is not something I like about the GN and its still there in the Renegade.

http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...zuki/S0308.jpg
They coould have used a GS frame and eliminated that rake.

UM will be offering their new cruiser next year, it can be ordered with either a 279cc, 223cc or 196cc engine.
The model has a bigger wheelbase, basically a full size bike.
http://umglobal.com/moto_content/Spe...de_sport_s.jpg
The 279cc is a Zongshen engine.
Its really a outraguous and a shame that Harley Davidson copies all these bikes....
