Hello,
Anybody interested to do a week end ride to Anji area. Depart tonight for a sleep in Huzhou, then tomorrow pass by moganshan and then afternoon ride in Anji mountain. Sleep in the mountain on Saturday night. Early morning sunday getting back to Shanghai.
Any body interested please let me know....

Too bad I didn't see this post earlier! I did a variation on this very ride this past weekend, making it to Huzhou Friday evening around 9 despite the rain and totally unsigned/unflagged hazards along two stretches of the 318. Riding conditions on Saturday and Sunday were near-perfect.
How did you get on?

Great to hear that. My trip was great but I shortened it and got back Saturday finally. Rainy on Friday as you said and a bit cold in the mountain. Shall we meet sometimes this week for some drinks in shanghai. I got some friends newly equiped and platted to join for futures rides...

In future, when heading out for Moganshan on a Friday, I'll start no later than 4 pm -- so as to hit Huzhou before dark. The 318 is pretty well lighted, except where it isn't. And of course where it isn't lighted is precisely where the worst hazards are.

What your exact trip this coming week end.
I actually wanted to do Shanghai Huzhou on Friday evening, then Moganshan/Anji on Saturday, sleep in the mountain and then heading back to Shanghai on Sunday monring and arrive for lunch time.
So far 2 people, 1 Kymco Exciting 250cc and 1 YBR 250cc. Feel free to let me know.

As for our original schedule we have to adjust to a lighter trip this time, as we will skip Anji mountain sleep on Saturday night and go back directly to Shanghai in the evening. Might depart from Shanghai to Huzhou on Friday after work (around 8pm). Saturday morning we can then arrive not too late in Moganshan and going in the neighborhood. Let me know if we can do something together?

Thanks for the update. So far we are 3 guys departing tonight at 8pm from SH to Huzhou. 10am sounds nice to catch up at Moganshan Lodge. I sent you yesterday my mobile by MP, did you received it? What is your phone?
