Grettings from Switzerland
Hello everybody
My name is Simon and i come from Rapperswil in Switzerland it is near Zürich at the Lake of Zürich.
At the end of September i would buy a Cleveland Cyclewerks heisst.
She is almost perfect in my eyes.
Black matte
no sidermarkers
lower seat
cut rear fender
other handlebar & gas, brake
licence plate on the side
I read a lot of threads in this forum about tuning the engine :-)
Thats my world.
I tune anything with wheels.
But thats my first bike with gears so i have to learn some things about the bike.
I hope weaversride ship also the parts to switzerland! ?
First thing i want to optimize in da heisst is a HD Chain an a 16T front sprocket.
And in the next summer i want a G&D exhaust and an other carb.
I hope you guys can help me by different questions :-)
Sorry my english is not the best.
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
When i install the Evap Kit from Weavers what is then optimized on the motor?
Can i do that with the stock carb an exhaust? I mean run the bike better when i do that?
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
I don't speak Züritüütsch, so here is my "Welcome!" on English.
Do not wait for the end of September - buy it now and ride it until the first snow.
In late September, it is better to buy a sled - you'll have more use for them. :icon10:

Since I'm a fan of Toblerone, I know that in Switzerland you do not speak only German German (beside French and Italian), but several local dialects too. :icon10:
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Hehe okey i know a guy who sells toblerone ;-)
We speak Swissgerman not German and also French Italian:-)
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Toblerone is a Kraft Brand
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Yes he works for kraftfood
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
German brand or not, Toblerone will always be swiss chocolate for me. Period.
And now I go to the store to look for a 400 gram Toblerone, to rape my mouth with it. :lol8:
Over and out!
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
LOL Kraft is American, their head quarters are in Chicago, if you look at their list of institutional investors, you should see Wall Street, if you studied their history you would definitely get a lesson in American corporatism Their European HQ is near Zurich.
Soon your chocolate will be sold through Mondelez International.
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
This reminds me of an episode of "The Simpsons", when disappointed and jealous Lisa asks Bart, who was selected to participate in the student exchange program and to go to France: "What do you know about France?"
He replied "I know that I'm going there and you do not!" :icon10:
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
That would be are not as in I know that I am going and you are not.
Mondelez translates in French to world delicious or monde délicieux? However in Russian it could mean much more, as in manda leez or манда лизать.
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Тhe most important thing is that you're caught my point. :icon10:
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Is this a great thread or what!! Swiss chocolates, linguistic culture, American corporate hegemony and the Simpsons (which of course represents cultural hegemony)!
Swiss Bobber, your Schwiizertüütsch accent is welcome here any time -- and be sure to post pictures of your new bobber plowing over snowy Alpine passes.
Welcome and cheers!
