Re: Johnny Pag - 2013 models
Ouch! These are all hard-tails and only the retro bobber has anything resembling springs! With your feet up on those forward controls, aren't your lower spine and all internal organs going to be shaken and hammered and twisted to smithereens?
Sorry, but I just don't understand the appeal of these bikes in practical terms.
cheers!

Re: Johnny Pag - 2013 models
It seems that Johnny Pag is considering offering some sport bikes, with the 320i engine from Lifeng.
Jonway has been seeking a distributor for it copy of the BMW F650-CS, that was sold in the USA as a Kung-FU 250, that bike came with a CMX250 Honda twin. They will be calling the Jonway model a Leopard 320i.
According to this article published on CMG, they are considering bringing the 320i version as well a faired version that is pretty much a Chinese industry standard, Johnny Pag is calling it the Falcon 320i.
It appears the JP has or is opening the franchise up to the Chinese market and in that offing the 600cc version they developed.
Re: Johnny Pag - 2013 models
Johnny pag is completely independent of lifeng
The 320i engine is not from lifeng
Now Johnny has other suppliers for their bikes

Oh really.
Johnny Pag has no US EPA certificates for 2013 as of yet, the last certificates were for the 2012 models
The 2012 all had a 270cc Lifeng engine, the new models have a 320cc engine, I suppose it is entirely possible though highly unlikely they have the exact same engine as offered by Lifeng but are now manufacturing them in another factory.
The 125cc engines offered in some Regal Rapture is manufactured by Tyan
I do not know were the Falcon will be manufactured, but it will have a 320cc twin that looks and specs exactly the same as the Lifeng engines.

Hey sometimes people get it all wrong, the jurnalist for CMG thinks the engine is a copy of a BMW engine. Actually only the body style of the Jonnway is the engine not.

Re: Johnny Pag - 2013 models
I think it is interesting that JP is looking to offer the 600cc single in China.

I am a big fan of JP motorcycles. Wish someday to have one and customize it...

It's a Johnny Pag direct information
Johnny Pag not a liar
In China it is normal for many factories use the same engines

Re: Johnny Pag - 2013 models
Johny Pag seems committed to re-enter the US market. They are now affiliated with the Jonway Group, me finds that apropos. They will be offering some new old versions….the offering are on their website and also on Shenke Motors website as well. Shenke Motors is a subsidiary of the Jonway Group.
Shenke also supplies or supplied the DB dirt bikes sold under the Roketa brand name in the USA.
Could say that Shenke is so happy to be an OEM?
All the offering have the 320cc twin with water cooling and EFI, same as those manufactured by Lifeng Group the former OEM for JP, sept this 320cc has a balance shaft?
The Chinese version of a 2005 BMW model called a F650 CS or should say a Chinese copy of a once BMW model once sold in the USA as a Sunl Kungfu 250 is now a new model that will be offered by JP….maybe? It will have the more powerful 320cc engine and also they claim a new digital/analog cluster.
I wonder if the digital gauges will be an Imac mounted on the front of the bike?
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_adZNKc4EiW...le_iMAC_G3.jpg It would fit the design well.

Your input is very interesting.

Re: Johnny Pag - 2013 models
I always thought the BMW was an ugly motorcycle. So, to me, JP has copied an ugly motorcycle. Might be a great machine.....but I can't get past the ugly.
