For Sale: Jialing 600A

After using it during my year stay in China I now have to sell my Jialing 600 A.

It was bought this February in Beijing, for 32.000 RMB, thanks to the advise of several experts in this forum (special mention to Barry)

It has mainly been used to travel around the country, to Dalian, Shanghai, and Inner Mongolia. The total amount of km amounts to 6000 more or less. I had a bad fall during my trip to Dalian and the windshield, one of the blinkers. Everything was repaired with Master Wang in Shunyi.

After this I installed the boxes at the sides and the back that you can see on the photos. During my trip to shanghai and back I had another slight fall and the blinkers shell broke again as seen in the photo
It comes with a Beijing B plate.

Pictures are now working. That's a steal at 22k rmb. The Tourfella panniers alone are 4k or more. I've replaced my front turn signals more than once, and can assure you the cost direct from the factor is trivial -- 50 rmb or less.

And it's black, which of course is the fastest color!

I would invest in a set of sturdy handguard/barkbusters.

I just bought it by "Handschlag". Yipppeeehhhh!

Great price and a good all around bike, ideal for touring China. A couple of falls are nothing. I've lost count on how many I took on mine, including the one in my avatar. Mine is still going strong.

now we try to found out (Shuben + I), how to manage the plates. it will be tricky. the sale is in Beijing, we live in Suzhou. any ideas? at least I try very hard to be legal.

I'm curious to know, have you plated any bikes since you moved to Suzhou? What was the process? Seeing as how bikes are technically illegal here I'd be interested in hearing how things work out. I'm wondering if it might just be easier to keep the Beijing plates on it.

I hope, it is sold to me.

I cannot keep the Beijing B plate. you need to be chinese and live outside 5th Ringroad Beijing to own this plate. I am nothing of it.
here in Suzhou, only new bought bikes can be plated downtown. it is a second hand bike. maybe, it can be done with a police registration / apartment / residence permit outside downtown. (very big "maybe". ) same goes for all cities arround.
I have a Kunshan first residence and a second one here. impossible? ask the agent, she has done it. I dont know how and why.
with the first one, I am outside downtown Kunshan. today Thomas assistant tried to get the answer how to get this bike legal. the answer I will post when I knew it.

legal in Beijing, all taxes payed, insurance, etc -------- is totally illegal here
second point of conflict:
the ownership transfer can only be made by the offical office in Beijing, when it is sure and "bestaetigt", just miss the english word, that the bike will be registered here in my name.
chinese law make a German cry!!!!

as I mentioned above, I try very hard to be legal. but when "push comes to shove" they can kiss my ass. excuse my french.. I just want to have a fine, reliable bike to train my skills. I want to have fun and ride down south Gobi desert.

I step back from the sale. Thomas just came back and told me, that there is no way to get a used bike legal here.

As Sabine has stated the bike is for sale again. I hope I can find a buyer before next Friday, because I will be leaving in two weeks, and it looks like there is some paperwork to be done for the propierty transfer.
