Haven't seen any threads by him...is he banned from Carl, his wife, Jim, me....??
No he's not banned! I'm not sure why he's been so absent recently but maybe he's got some other business to take care of. People have a habit of disappearing for periods of time without explanation you know! :mwink: :lol8:
Look at it this way...now it's your turn to harass him! :lol8::lol8::lol8:

I guess Canadian secret agents slipped across the border and have whisked him away to be tortured in Quebec until he admits he likes their country, and the French language...:eekers::eekers:
:lol8::lol8::lol8:
I was talking about the admitting he likes Canada part.
Hee hee hee ,
no , I am still prowling out here , just haven't posted anything lately , but been watching trust me . I do have other hobbies you know , God Forbid huh ? Working too much helps disappearing too . I certainly don't need the Great Culcune-a-Fish Hoodini pointing out disapearence of anyone else but himself mind you Simon , LOL ...
Honestly , I do like Canada Culcune , especially the girls . I have always had a great time there , and French Canadian girls are wonderfull and mostly very lady like too , kinda proper and sexy even ....The pollitics, well , we won't even go there will we . I try not to offend people anymore , but I fail mostly at that , but I do try ...I actually think the French language is very flowing and beautiful Simon . The people are a bit Hairy but hey, its not illegal to not shave in Canada is it ??? Maybe it is !!! See , I can't help it at times !!!!
So Simon , what secret agents are you talking about there ? If there are any which I doubt , what would they take me out with , Sticks ???
Good luck trying to capture the Great 00-Snortin-7 .
Hey Simon , I even like Patte' , now how French is that !!! Big time ...
See you think you know me Cuclune, but if you don't send me that Hooker , you never will pal ...
So when are our or your bikes getting here ????
Later , Snortin the American dilinquent
I thought the only French things you liked were French fries! Working on sample bikes as I write--it's going to take the selling skills of Carl at the Indy show to close any bike deal, LOL
I think mychinamoto can represent Chinese bikes at any of the SCORE races; I want to shoot for the Baja 250 in '10, and if it gets too scary to cross the border :gun_bandana:, one of the SCORE Laughlin/Vegas races.
------------------
French Fries ???? Did you come up with that or did your kids ??? Your useually not so whitty ??? Are you feeling ok , or did you actually get that out of a book ??? LOL !!! Oh that's right , your at teacher , and you can't read . That's the American way you know .
Boy Simon , you better find a really well built China Bike for the Baja 250 if your thinking about entering me in it ???? I do believe they will be up against BMW and KTM's for sure . That is some feirce well built machinery there you know ??? No rubber bands and duct tape is going to win that race . It will take a well built China machine with massive horsepower and excellent suspension . I am hopefull but have yet to see them make one worthy of that race . Mine would break in half ?
Maybe you shoud ride your Honda Ascott in it , will throw some Dunlop Knobbies on it and you'll be good to go . Oh that's right, you actualy have to know how to ride for more than two months to enter ???? Oh well , your out .
It would be fun but comming in last for me would be a little disheartening on my ego that I have fabricated to huge levels . I don't like Scorpians anyway and Baja is packed with them .
Later, Snortin out
Galaxy Moto competed against and beat a ton-o-bikes in the Taklimakan (sp?) Rally last year. They came 6th overall behind heavy-hitting 450's from the big boys, and their bike was "only" a 230. Not bad for Chinese, but the rally being in China, perhaps they cheated to look good :lol8:. No, I think that brand is stout enough to compete, but I can't guarantee a win...I just want a finish!
I could rip it up on the Ascot , and I think just for the heck of it, I will ride it down to watch, not enter, this year. I just hope there aren't huge gaps between gas stations as the tank doesn't quite let the bike reach a full 100 miles!!:eek2:
If anyone wants to spectate this year's Baja 250 in March, let me know!
Here's the link to the ADVrider thread about the rally...

Just carry a couple alluminum bottles of fuel with ya Simon , you'll be good to go for 30 more miles ...Maybe Carl has brewed up some of his Cat Pellet fuel by now and he may just send ya some ???
Well , I am hopefull someone on a Chinese bike wins , I wil lbe roroting for them for sure . I hope to catch some of that race on Speed Channel if they have it on this year??? I would come down and watch it with ya , but your bad company , and my coffee machine would be too far away anyway , LOL !!!!
I wouldn't want the Honda to rub off on my Norton or Harley anyway !!!!
Just kidding , I actually like your bike, just not you , LOL ...Kidding again, don't want to give you a complex , I know your fragile being a Porn Star and all .
I do hope they can win something BIG in the States, it may just start a new chapter in American racing . But Culcune , they got thier hands full my firend achieving that . Even if they rode Japanese bikes they would be hard pressed to beat the American riders in the Baja , its thier home turf and the practice there year round . That's tough shoes to fill .
Later Bro , where's my HOOKER , My Bike and my Tequila ass-hole !!!
Snortin out
That's why they should use Chinese bikes with Murican' riders. I think that's what they're doing for MotoGP. Speaking of which we should see that joint venture Chinese/Brit bike entering the 125 GP this year. When does that season start?

I think it starts in April Crazy Carl ???? Moto-GP that is .
Here's a good link to the real skiny about life in GP and such .

On another note , I too would love to see an Merican on a CHina bike in the Baja , but they MUST produce something that will make an American want to do it . I am sure allot of the potential clients/riders of these bikes KNOW that China can build a competitive bike , ONCE . But can they keep parts for an American market bike that can actually compete in the market once they sign themselves over to a China sponsored team to race the bikes ???? I think Americna riders are kinda loyal to Japan Sponsorship or KTM and Husky in that arena and are hard pressed to feel any different if China doesn't step up to the plate , BIG TIME . That's just my opinion . I ask myself if I were still racing if I would go to a China bike to race ??? I doubt it Carl . Not yet at least . They have come a long ass way I give them that, but they have to race on Sunday ( and WIN ) and sell on Monday and it aint happened yet .
I honestly do not know if it ever will either in this Americna market Carl ??
American riders and consumers remember stuff very well , and China's lapse of bussienss judgment or lack of good bussiness market practice here in the states with quality control issues have tainted their reputation so bad with people it may NEVER come around here Carl . Even if there bikes are cheaper it won't help the underlying issue of quality and parts availability here .
Its a little sad, but its a little true also Carl . I think it is that is ...
Cheerios , Snortin
Snorton,
You may be right that a few people will bare the burn and grudge for the rest of eternity but that's not likely to have a huge impact unless they start picketting up and down every Main Street in America. Let's not underestimate the value and power of marketing and advertising dollars on the media and American consumer public. :deal:
The bikes themselves aren't going to be as much of a real problem as the lack of marketing and advertising dollars that would put full spread reviews of their machines in the press. Kymco places full page adds like mad, and it's partly the generally good quality of their machines and the weight these ad dollars spends that has even gotten them this far. I really can't see any reason why China would not be able to produce a bike a least as good as Korea... if not better considering their many joint partnerships. The new BMW F800 rotax engine is made in China and also used in their 650.
Although not the exact same, Japanese bikes had a stigma about them too when they first came out. I think there's plenty of races that need to be won (just like Mr. Honda had to do) and marketing stragtegies which need to be learned and invested in. If these two things can fall in place (with maybe some help from a poor economy) they could be as competitive as anyone else, but we're still talking years.
What we can do to help t he situation is be positive, be willing to throw some ideas at these guys and hope <crossed fingers> they pick it up. Eventually things can and do change. And if you can imagine, I've even heard of some smart ass, Expresso swillin', dirt track building, mud slingin', :gun_bandana:Culcune harassin', Brit-bike nut job is willing to give them a shot so things can't be all that bad! :icon10:
Paz,

Carl, why do you think I have been using my marketing angle (my low fee is just the cost of a bike or 3) to get these bikes publicity out there?:lol8:
I know you're fightin' the good fight out there man. Just be sure your boots is all strapped up! :lol8::lol8::lol8:

Carl, now come on man, BOOTS, stinkin Simon aint got no boots, and you know it, he rides with sneakers or thongs , all LA dimmwits do don't you know ...LOL ....
Tighten your boots up Simon ??? Hell , don't you mean tighten up your Garter Belt more like it ???
I wish I was 18 again , I would certainly entertain the idea of racing again . I am out for sure being old and crusty , and far too busy , and very afraid of pain now .
Your right Carl . it will be years before it happens , and it may never anyway .
What China needs is there own designs, their own technology and then come talk to me , not copy everybody . Once again tha tis my opinion .
