Hello Everybody, glad to be onboard. I would like to know if anybody has done some performance mods to their 650TR.
I would like to change air filter to K&N. Anybody have a part number?
Anybody put in some NGK Iridium spark plugs?
Is there a plug and play exhaust system?

Mines a NK, but it's the same bike under the skin. I've got NGK Iridium plugs, DID X type chain and Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 tires to go on over the next few weeks for spring preparation. Looking for a K&N filter, will order one soon, not sure about the part number yet either.
Upgraded the brake pads to EBC FA231 and FA229 organic, with a noticeable improvement in brake power and feel.
Not very interested in muffler upgrades, due to cost and legality of removing the CAT.

Take a look of ER6 Exhaust systems they should fit.
I also have NK and I just installed Powercommander but it did require soldering as most of plugs where different.. one option would have been getting Kawasaki Coils and injectors.. but still TPS requires soldering.
I also got two brother replica slip on, and also Nitron rear shock.
I'm also working on using Stenbel nautilus horn. (http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/prod...tipologia=moto) I had to dismantle compressor and horn as its little too big package..
Compressor sits under backseat and horn section is at the moment under left fairing (Naked bike) im sure on TR there is much more space.
Anyone has done any mods on their TR/TK?
Hi. My first post on here. I've just purchased a 2015 650tr. It was actually the support bike in the Idle of man TT races in 2015 when the CF moto came fourth in it's category. It's only done 800 miles. Just wondering if it will have the throttle body restriction with being a UK model. Thanks

Hi there
No performance upgrades as such, but fitted a radiator guard, top box, and probably best of all, a Tutoro auto oiler, that has meant my chain has needed hardly any adjustments in over 10000 miles. Oh, 1 thing, don't use the same oil filter as you would for an ER6, but, if you can't get 1 off WK, or don't fancy using Tabao etc, the a HiFlo HF303 will fit.
Also, if you need to replace you clutch cable.. This is a good cheap, alternative

Can get it off Wemoto, cheaper than an OEM 1.
Other than that,not much more to add, mine rides lovely, although, I've not been able to get to it for a couple of months, as it's in storage, should get it back withing the next couple of weeks.
Oh, as for tyres, I'm persfectly happy with the Maxxis (CST's)
