Benelli BN 302 Release Date
Hello,
Just heard yesterday from the factory that the Benelli BN 302 also known in China as the Benelli BJ300 will be released in mainland China on 10th April 2014. The price will be 22,800 rmb for the 300 cc inline twin 37bhp bike. The local dealer here in Taizhou has already ordered 11 of these machinese for customers who have paid the deposit. I will test ride on this date before purchasing. The bike comes in four colours but think only available in two colours outside China. The colours available here are Orange, White, Black and Red. Outside China is the first two. If you view some of the videos on baidu video page then you can here the sound of the bike, sounds lovely considering its only 300cc. Chinese name: 贝纳利300
If I have any more news then i will post on here.
Thanks

Nice looking bike, and competitively priced too. I'd still probably go with a Suzuki 250 for the extra 2000 yuan if I was commuting, however good the Benelli you would really expect less issues from the Suzuki. The Benelli has an extra 10hp if stats are correct, which really might be pretty nice in China.
In true Chinese style here are some pictures that I stole from the internet and then claimed I took them. :lol8:

They may have canceled the 250cc singles, because they are gone.
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
They also are setting up production of the Benelli bikes(600 upward) @ a factory in Brazil, that will take place @ Bramont, Mahindra manufactures @ Bramont pick-ups and small SUV as well as Polaris ATV's sold in brazil.
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
22800 RMB, very reasonable price.
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
I want its bigger brother, the BN600GT but its RMB48000~~~~~maybe next year hah
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
It's nice but looks like it's 200kg... Bit heavy for 37hp.
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
The official dry weight is 185kg and yes its near 200kg but i think the power is still enough. I own a Yamaha Majesty 400 scooter which has similar power but weighs nearly 225kg. Only 3 weeks left till their released.:icon10:

I'd GLADLY support your Benelli purchase by buying your YBR. Of course, under the condition that I get
a test ride on the 300 :naughty:
Oh...i forgot to give you an update. I went to have my license translated and discovered that it had just expired.
Obstacles...i haz them.
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date

Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
Where could I buy one of these in Beijing? I go for my license exam next week and this bike would be perfect.

Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
We are in august and I still don't see one.
Sure, it's a very nice bike.
Did anybody see or test?
And what about the 600?
Cheers

I have seen the new BJ300 (302) at my local Benelli shop. IMO looks quite nice and fairly good quality and fitment of panels etc., but can't comment on how it rides.
The 600GS-A (600GT) looks pretty good too with some evidence of forethought in many design elements, but ground clearance is too low IMO and only 750mm length front forks...
Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date

Of course every Chinese bike needs to be sold under 9 different brand names. So that when one gets attacked for poor quality/safety or customer service it only muddies the name of one brand, like a hydra. Instead of one crappy brand you then have 9, see the difference? No. Nor do I! :rolleyes1:

Re: Benelli BN 302 Release Date
hi guys, its been a while...:scooter:
was out today for a short ride, well i planned to ride longer to enjoy the nice weather but was caught checking bike instead. I sat on the benelli 300gs for the first time and i have to admit it looks way better than my GW, not sure though how it performs. My GW works perfectly fine and never experienced any problems with it, except for the unfortunate incident:icon10:
Asked the dealer if i could trade-in my bike for a brand new Benelli, was quoted 10k for it (excluding the plate transfer and registration fee ofcourse)
would u guys consider the deal if u were in position? or any one have more information how the benelli300gs perfoms? any feedback will be much appreciated :goodtime:
