AKT works with Zongshen and maybe others?

However based on the engine offering on the XM being a 180cc I suspect that Loncin may be the OEM for these.

Who is making the bike you posted?
They are being assembled in Colombia by AKT, that model is new and not obvious as to who AKT is getting them from, however AKT seems to have its act together.

Is correct is assembled in Colombia by AKT, but wanted to know the name Chinese manufacturer that supplies them. I am searching for information because I'm going to buy a bike and want to find the best option.
Zongshen may makes those...not exactly the same though and that is because AKT likely has a special order.

These are sold in Peru and come with a 200cc engine.

and what would you choose between the AKT 150CC, SHINERAY XY250GY-6B, KEEWAY TX 200. in quality and durability for daily use
Do all those sell for the same prices? I would look at the Shineray and then compare it to the Thunder Sahara.
I think if i was in Costa Rica I might favor Thunder for service and support.
I think that the Shineray is coming out of Ecuador or would be supported from operations there?
I like the AKT 180 myself but I think they may cost more, my bet is that Thunder Motos cost the least.
More or less all are in the same price range.The Shineray is brought by the same agency then UM(united motors) also has support and service. here do not bring akt 180, only the akt 150.

they sell this Shineray like Dsr UM I guess it's a copy. The price is about $ 2300 on all the bikes the AKT 150 cc is cheaper $2000. And the KTM Duke 200 at $ 6,150
Unico look very close to AKT but i don`t now about quality and reliability. although the Chinese bikes that may not be bulletproof, I'm looking for the best option in the market.
I do not think any are bulletproof, there is company called Freedom they have a 250 that looks to be a Loncin

I think that they are both made by Zongshen and the Unico has a 200cc engine with a balance shaft, it be worth checking prices on them, these bikes all share allot of the same parts.Quote:

The least expensive Honda is the CB1 Tuf and @ about $2700.00

Many of the other bikes are chinese knock offs of the Honda XR125, the Unico and AKT are.
With sometimes larger engines than what the Honda offers. You could likely find a used XR125 for under $2,000.00
Then there is the Honda XRE300, the Chinese make knock offs of these but not with the 300 engine, they use lesser engines, The Shineray falls into that with its engine, but for $2,000.00 it seems a real bargain.
Understand, i think my first option will be the shineray and my second (único, akt)

Honda also makes a crf230m and when you see 223cc as the engine size that is what is similar, for example the new UM Hypersport offer that type engine. But as you pointed out AKT does not import these to your area and that is because of the prices, the AKT version with a 180cc engine is priced what close to $4,000.00? Nobody will pay that for them, the UM will likely be expensive when it is released and a very good bike but what is it really worth? UM is setting up production in India and plans to offer these there.

The Shineray would have comparable power output to the 223cc Honda type engine, so getting one at $2,000.00 is a bargain.
