Hey y'all!!

NooB here from the great state of Wisconsin. Just getting into motocycling at the tender age of 52:rolleyes1:

Intrigued by the Chinese and what they can produce for a small outlay. I own several Chinese smartphones and if that is any indication of the quality/value of their bikes, I'm all for it! I have my eyes on a 250 RTC or possibly a Bobber. This seems to be THE go to place to learn all there is to know about these cool looking bikes! Thanks for having me and please excuse the NooB stupidity. I am mechanically inclined, but pretty new to motorcycles in general. Thanks!

hello! wisconsin here too!! noob as well, ordered my first bike last week at 42!!! i got an enduro, excalibur (tmec-200). i was going to get a 250 but liked the look of the 200 much better. can't wait for it to get here. originally i was looking at a bobber, then came across the enduro and fell in love...

Hey guys.. Thanks for the replies. Still thinking about what to get. Any bike I get now would satisfy the mid age crisis I am going through. I have only just ridden trail bikes and small motos back in the day. I'm turning 52 in a few months and this would be my first street bike.

Ha.. No..sorry, I was referring to the one you bought.

Go through the longest thread on mychinamoto--the one that probably brought you here; the one about the Dong Fang bobber. Those guys have sorted them out over the years, and continue to do so.

As far as any other bike, join us on www.chinariders.net because the majority of the members are North American based meaning that the bikes we mainly discuss are the one available in North America, while this site is very international and mainly discuss bikes not available to us, the exception being the very looooong Dong Fang thread of the bobber which is very much worth the read through.
