Taobao? Common as mud I assume - what length over all and outer length of inner cable
It was 48 inches (cover), An around 53-54 inch total cable length. I made my own already out of an old Yamaha dirtbike cable I had in my mini motorcycle junkyard and a barrel shaped cable lock I believe they call them. But If you have an inexpensive source to the US I'll be happy to listen ? These seem to trash out every 2,000 miles or so.

Hi
You got any connections where to find a disc for my bike? I'm in Nanning and locally nothing Toaboa draws a blank and some local boys in a bike shop can't find one
It's a 150GY off road with 17" wheel heavy duty hub and 6 bolts to mount it
It's about 26-27cm in diameter
Please please advise any solution?
I can find 5 bolt but nothing 6 bolts
103 cm = about 48 inches AFAIK. #1 I don't know the total length from their numbers. I need to know its 53 inches total. #2 I don't know what the currency is they are specifying on the advertisement, US dollars , Yen ? . #3 I don't their alphabet to figure out anything in the ad, how to order ,what shipping would add up to and such. I think you get what I am trying to say. I like the fact you guys know how to go strait to the source.
I meant 122 cm not 103 cm. I would just edit the post. But lately the site won't post my edits to any of my posts ?
I think now that I have figured out how to handle it with a build your own kit I won't be needing any more low dollar cables. And what is that item you needed that can be had over here ?
Windows 7 ultimate from Walmart or the like
I want legal legitimate version
But I certainly don't mind having an inexpensive Asian connection. Thank you for your research on where the right parts are. China to US shipping is getting fast BTW !
And how come you can't get it for yourself just wondering ?
Can't buy legal in China and usa companies won't send to China via post
Get little stuck in logistics
US to China , That is why I am starting to be very careful to really give a product a real good looking over before I order. To much BS to send it back and get things right. That's why I can't stand lazy internet vendors that don't take and give good measurements of the products they are trying to sell. But most of those are US salesmen.
I thought you are in NZ ?
Not brushing you off, But must go to bed now. Its 2 am here in Florida, US
I haven't had a clutch cable break since 1966 and that was on my old BSA 650. Knock on wood. Maybe 50 or 60 motorcycle ago, admittedly some had hydraulic master cylinders for the clutch control mechanism.
I do have one of those gizmos for forcing the oil into the cable housing.
No, wasn't a lube issue. Cable moved freely. Was a manufacturing issue, Lever cable end just pulled off. Its a China thing .lol Its all good now. Went to my pile of old motor cycle junk and scavenged a 1976 DT 400 front brake cable. Also had a cable lock I believe they call it (little barrel with a bolt in it). Made my own connector with part of the Yammy bake arm, Made job look factory as possible and Bob's your Uncle. Tanks for reply though.
Also found a factory China replacement for it . I will go get the receipt out of my Dong Fang file and post the name of the vendor. This way if anyone is searching for the part they may find this post. This way they won't run into a dead end like I did. Not $35 like the one vendor I found. Hell, I can Damn near get a Ducati clutch cable for that . lol I'm not going to pay that for a Chinese mass produced, no QC, Scab labor tin part for crying out loud. The actual part was made for no more than $2 US on a good day.
Clutch cable for China Bobber, Motopartsmax.com, Sku # is 231-999033 $9.95 And possibly free shipping I believe. This is what Chinese motorcycle parts are supposed to cost. I will ride an American or Jap bike if I want to spend more money.
