Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
February - unusual time for the moto show. Are you affected by the global warming? Some 1,200 kilometers south of Warsaw, the weather is still a bit nippy for riding. :icon10:
Еxcept "Junak" and "Romet", if someone else came with Chinese motorcycles?

Yep, we'll have ours in Sofia on Feb 18th :D
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
February, month in which riders still hibernate like bears. Damn EU directives! Why they don't allow conducting of such fairs in the spring, when the sun starts to shine and the hormones start to flow? :lol8:
Mid-end of march in Belgrade, "Moto Passion" - http://sajam.co.rs/active/sr-latin/h..._id/68706.html
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
The local motorcycle show here was in the last week of January. KTM brought a Duke 390…that bike is very small, I sat on it and even went back three times, simply too small for me. I was surprised they had the MSRP for them at $3,999.00.
Sat on a GW250, CBR300F neither felt too small, they are small but I did not feel cramped on them as I did on the Duke 390.
Looked at the Ducati scramblers and Yamaha SR400, both of these have some real obtrusive canisters hanging on them, I believe something to do with tank fumes and mandated through the EPA? Two out of three of the Scramblers on display had them taken off, the devices on the Ducati were not as bad as what was on the SR400, on the Yamaha it was very large and round, both had them hanging in front of the crankcase.
Not a single scooter on display…local market here is uber conservative.
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
Beniamin, say, is "Benzer" still alive?
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
"Benzer" attracted my attention because of their "motorower" named "Rapid", which comes from the "Wonjan" factory. "Rapid", aka. WJ 50 C seems to me like the by far most refined version of design which uses another dozen Chinese manufacturers.
You can see, this is a forum dedicated to Chinese motorcycles, no matter where in the world are sold. Plus, Polish brands such "Romet" and "Junak" are not new, formed ad-hoc, like many brands in the world that sell Chinese motorcycles. These are good enough reasons for us to be interested in Polish market too.
Polish language is not problem for me, because my native language, is one of Slavic languages. Just annoys me shitload of "W" in Polish language. :lol8:
I also do not know anything about C-motos in Bulgaria. I hope that Krasi will surprise us with his photo reportage - february 18th is not far.

You think they will sell Junak and Romet in your country?
Romet (or better Arkus group) is now a big player in Poland.
He is the seller of Hyosung and Keeway.
They "produce" Romet and they recently bought another Polish chineese bikes importer named Zipp.
The Junak is not so big as Romet, but the people say it has better quality (i would say - quality control).
But some models are overpriced in my opinion. They are near on Japanesse bikes.
I wonder why the Japanese doesn't sell the 250cc chopper model in Europe anymore.
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
Well, "Romet" and "Junak" are known here only to motorcycle enthusiasts, so I think, that for the average buyer in Serbia, is not any difference whether an ordinary Chinese bike have "Romet"/"Junak" badge or badge of some Chinese brand with at least a couple of X, Y, Z letters in its hard-to-pronounce name. In addition to design, price is important, but not least service support and availability of spare parts. Simple as that!
From your words it seems to me that virtually all are aware that a major problem with the C-moto importers is pricing. At the local forum I mentioned new 400 cc "Shineray" bike and the fact that its retail price in different European countries is around 4k euros. Immediately someone answered that for 4k euros you can buy second hand branded, which will likely "outlive" this Chinese 400 cc bike. Other guy said that brand new "Honda" CB 500 F costs 5.5 k euros. OK, it is not cheap commuter bike with 125 cc CG clone, but still...
BTW, about "Romet"''s "Zipp" purchase: it is good to hear that "jeszcze Polska nie zginela" and that your local importers are thinking about expanding their business. It seems that this is a sign that they are there to stay, although I am sorry that this will inevitably lead to a reduction of the diversity available to customers.
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
I do not have any problems with the languages, translating is very easy these days with technology.
I believe that the prices in Poland are very low compared to other markets, the CFMoto NK650 for $5,200.00, that is $300.00 less then the MSRP in the USA for those.
They offer this S200 for about $1500.00, it has a Zongshen 200cc, in perspective to the rest of Europe that is very affordable.

Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
If I could purchase one of these for $2,500.00 in the USA I would have one.

I do not want a cruiser, I would like a standard with that engine though for that price.

When Johnny Pag sold Lifeng bikes here he was asking over $5,000.00 for them!
He has since taken up with Jonway for his production of similar bikes.

I do not realize that. I am not a Sport enthusiast, i am watching only Curling and Snooker.
I think the EU was good for Poland, but we forgotten that we where once a "Big Slavic familly".
Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
Curling and Snooker!? And you are probably birdwathcher and trainspotter too. You pervert! :lol8:
Silly me - I was wondering are you "Wisla" or "Legia" fan. :confused1:
Jokes aside. You have no idea how much our two countries in the past influenced one another.
BTW, is there any pictorial or video coverage from Warsaw bike show?

Re: Motorcycle Show Warsaw Poland 2015
Junak must have struck a deal with China South Group?
The 126 looks to be a Qingqi
http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...9bfc1a72fd.jpg
This version has a 125cc OHV engine, it does not have the Suzuki 125cc OHC. Its a budget version...4,799.00 PLN |
= |
1,285.85 USD |
The Junak RS 125 is a Jianshe, it has a OHC Jianshe Yamaha engine, the bike is a Jianshe Model that is sold in China with a 150cc OHC.
http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...f9bcc8e73a.jpg
6,499.00 PLN |
= |
1,741.93 USD |
Also the NK 125 is made by XGJAO, it has Zongshen 125cc OHC with a balance shaft.
http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...297bef3dd0.jpg
7,999.00 PLN |
= |
2,144.60 USD |
that one seems over priced to me, for that price it should have the 223cc OHC IMO...

I noticed this little one, first in the video, and then on a photo.
Base is common Chinese step-through moped with a tubular frame and horizontal engine. Retro details or whole "paneling" (like "Jawa Pionyr") can change the appearance of a moped, but with the ZT-70 someone was too enthusiastic with spokes. But, in general, it is a cute moped/mokick.
