Good read.
I would like to clarify.
This project is original in every sense of the word:
Initially I possessed nothing.
1) The project exists only in my head for now.
2) The parts are bought one by one like a puzzle.
3) Some parts have repair needs.
4) I do not know anyone who owns a panhead so I have to imagine.
5) Me and my friend, we know nothing to the old Harley.
6) For us it is a true adventure.
7) I just want to share my adventure and the desire to give another person.
8) I unfortunately can not tell you when the machine is complete.
10) I'm sorry if some are disappointed not to see this time a motorcycle ride.

This is the result after many difficulties
Interesting project you have going, from the first post which was nearly 2 years ago till now you have completed the frame.
I wish you well and a long life somehow I think you are going to need it.
Great thread. I look forward to seeing progress.
I love replacing factory parts with stuff from ebay and breakers yards. Adds personality to any bike, sheds weight and gives me something to do
I do not forget you but the time has passed so quickly, my project does not move very fast but it's like that.
After finding the tool, I was able to finish tightening,I finally finished my crankshaft.
Thank you for your message.
Hello, thank you for your visit,
as I said before yesterday, it will be the best memory of the work on the panhead.
For me this is a big financial investment and piece research.
I hope one day to finish this project.
Of course, I will not get any glory, just being at the end of my dream.
Sometimes I doubt and I will like to stop and sell everything.
But Herve helped me so much that to stop now would betray his precious help for so many years.
If one day you want to help me return the parts I buy in the United States, I will pay the shipping costs for France, of course.
It would not cost you anything.
I made a short video showing the progress of the work:
https://youtu.be/GRQSJDGm1wU
Worth the effort and feeling when parts of the project work out and come together
I hear ya. This is one of the advantages of living in the middle kingdo0m - Taobao (a little similar to fleaBay), where one can search and find all and sundry a hoard all manner of items in ones garage for as lot less money. One can have a garage full of professional looking tools and the like for a lot less... FWIW Anyway, look forward to seeing your progress on this project over the coming, days, weeks, months, years...
Sometimes life takes unexpected paths, and for my part, health problems cause me to leave my current job for a less paid job.
For me it was already difficult financially but it would take me 30 years to complete it.
I sell all the parts in one lot.
Thank you for following me all these years.
You know the whole story.
You can delete my account and my subjects.
Hello,
I have made some headway in my project but unexpected difficulties have slowed my ambitions.
My project was so late due to so many problems that I don't know if I will be able to complete it.
I created a logo and I found a site where you can buy a t-shirt with this one above. For each t-shirt sold, I will receive a small commission, which will allow me to continue the 'adventure.
Here is the secure site link:

A very simple original gift.
I am now on Twitter:
#PanheadfaconPuzzle
Everything is simplified but I keep my blog for the technical part.
