pulse adrenaline 125 modding/tuning
Hi, I just bought a pulse adrenaline 125 and I'm looking to do some modding and tuning etc. I have started this thread to remind me what I've done to mod & tune it and for others that are doing the same to give and get some tips about the subject as I've looked threw the internet and there's not much about modding or tuning these bikes. its completely standard Atm and I've just serviced it (New Oil, oil filter & spark plug changed) and it's only been drove about 2 miles from I done it, I have ordered a good load of parts for it for it NGK iridium (CR8EIX) performance spark plug, 38mm K&N air filter & splash guard, Main jets size 105, Lextek oval s/steel exhaust, Customized oil cooler & radiator, Lextek indicators Front & back, Black Renthal handle bars, Renthal grips and Renthal bar pad I will be ordering new heavy duty chain & sprockets as soon as I decide what ratio I want to go i'll maybe go standard 51T at back and move up to a 16 or 17T on front I'm not sure whats best has anyone have any ideas what would be best and any other ideas to improve the bike? This is the bike now as standard and i'll take more when parts etc are fitted.
Attachment 17071 Thank's. :icon10:

Re: pulse adrenaline 125 modding/tuning
While we talk about "Suzuki" GS clones, Humanbeing, I have to ask, because I believe that you know this.
Is crankcase of 125 cc engine the same as 200 cc engine crankcase? Is it possible to fit 200 cc's crankshaft, piston, cylinder head, cylinder studs, cam chain, etc. without additional modifications of the 125cc's crankcase? Is distance between cyilinder studs same in 125 cc and 200 cc?

thank's i just left the tubes on and tucked them away so the engine can still get the air that it needs (thats what i think there for) and stop them sucking up water if it rains untill i get EGR blanking plate and 9mm oil breather filter

I'm confused: where are the two tubes you mentioned?
Just a thought: to prevent filter to suck water in, maybe will be better to direct this "mushroom" and this orange cover upwards.
But still, I'm convinced that stock airbox is much better solution for rainy climate.

I have tucked one up underneath the seat and held it in place with cable ties and the other one is a wee short one you can see it its just under the bracket of the air filter and i was wondering what way would be best to put the air filter but i thought that way would be better incase i drive threw a puddle and the water flicks up from the back wheel and theres five small holes at the bottom of the splash guard of the airfilter so if the water did get in this way it would run out threw the holes at the bottom and the air box would be better for rainy climate, i just wanted to change to an air filter as im waiting on my new exhaust and bigger jets coming and its also easier to get the carb of to clean it with the air filter on :D

Re: pulse adrenaline 125 modding/tuning
As my neighbor used to say: "Those are my attic and my ladder - I can go up and down as much as I want!", but still, why you so quickly modified virtually everything you can on your bike, without giving him a chance to show you is it necessary or isn't to do that?
-
Re: pulse adrenaline 125 modding/tuning
I noticed that each time I make a purchase of a new bike I have this compulsion to work on it. I since have put a moratorium on myself….the compulsion dies off in a few months. Wear the bike in at stock, it come into its own on its own as you get accustom to it.
