CF650MT ADV bike release

The CFMoto ADVenture model to be released at the 2016 CIMA Chongqing AFAIK.

The Kiska designed CF650MT (aka CF650AK) is speculated to be based along similar design lines as the Kawasaki Versys KLE650. Time will tell, but see for yourself from both the Kiska design renderings and the spy shots of the CFMoto CF650MT being ridden around the outer northern suburbs of Hangzhou during first week of October 2016, close to the headquarters of CFMoto manufacturing. The 650MT is a production ready version taken for testing, before being shown/released at the 2016 CIMA exhibition.

The 650MT will utilise the same twin cylinder 647cc engine as found in CFMoto's other models; CF650Nk, CF650TR (aka CF650TK), CF650TR-G.

Adventure bikes don't roll on 17" mag wheels. This looks like a 10% Adventure 90% Street bike. The luggage and handlebars look completely out of place and I doubt they would survive a parking lot tip over.

But it's 10% more then the NK, TR and TR-G so IMO better for Chinese roads.

Just hope it comes with a center stand .

Side box's do look a bit big????

Except for inverted forks I don't really see any significant difference from the NK to this. Seems like Benelli might edge them with their adventure bike.

For 90% of riders its enough adventure just to ride the bike I guess ...
And for bit graveled roads it should be OK with suitable tires ....

An off brand extension of the Kawasaki Verysys, Kiska does not go much beyond appearance.
I cannot imagine CFMOTO going much beyond altering the base 650 twin.

My god that's ugly... and that's coming from a guy who owned a V-Strom. It's like someone tried to create an adventure bike and never got the memo on what makes a bike good for adventuring. I'm not sure what's worse, the first time you hit a bumpy road or the first time it falls over and breaks everything.

I was not impressed as well .

Will not be on my wish list for sure.

Big mistake IMO .
WK should just stick with the TR-G for now.

More stylized body parts then on the Kawasaki 650 LT, these are paved road adventure bikes.
That black body work , if it is heavy duty , like a plastic garbage can, it act like a giant bumper?

Have to admit I like it, and I like the TR-G, and according to CFMoto, Euro 4 certification is coming in May 2017 :-)
