The Piaggio engine used to be offered with a 150cc or "200cc" big bore the 200 was actually roughly 180cc
Here is a version called a CR150 that will be offered in China possibly as an Aprilia.

I've seen it posted online as the Aprilia CR125 in Europe it's named "FP Mondial Hipster 125"
The Mondial will also be offered with a NC250?

tsk tsk...no mention of Piaggio or Zongshen Foshan?
Piaggio had some association with Jincheng?

I cannot speak with any authority on this, however, I suspect the engine is now being manufactured by Jincheng? That would explain them having it?
here is the only clue offered on the Jincheng website.
2005.7
Project 204 and Project 557, which are jointly developed by Jincheng Corporation and Italian Piaggio/Aprilia have attained great progress
One can place an order for it already through taobao https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?sp...=3408515146236
Old post on Jincheng
I wonder about the power to weight ratio with these, the RX3 is considered heavy, wonder what these weigh, if lighter they could be about the same since they have less power? It’s just not a vehicle that anyone would consider a home run, the only advantage they would have would or could be on prices. They would need to cost less than the Zonghen RX3.
The Piaggio DOHC single as a 125cc has great potential within the EU, the bored-out versions would only sell well in Asian markets. However, a line a very affordable 20hp 200cc engines could sell reasonably well in the Americas, even in the USA if they were priced correctly, which would be under 3k. The 3-4K price range here in the USA is getting more and more offerings every year. Entry level and maybe a rediscovered interests in small light motorcycles?
