Why did you buy a motorcycle?
Haven't been here for a while. Was working in Dubai and then with Covid, couldn't come home to China. Doing an online market research course. Can you answer in one or two lines, with all the negatives that go along with riding a motorcycle, especially in China, why did you decide to pull the trigger and buy a motorcycle? Thanks in advance.Attachment 20359
Re: Why did you buy a motorcycle?
Welcome back :) yeah crazy topsy tervy world Well I been riding motorcycles since... well 41 years. In PRC it was one of the easier vehicle types to buy aside from a bicycle initially when I had first arrived in PRC. although my preferred bicycle type when in Shanghai at the time, was a Dahon foldie bike. bikes whether motorcycle or bicycles just made sense in Shanghai at the time also, as a cheaper and more convenient buy, factoring in the challenges of vehicle ownership and all that it entails. Everything that followed has indeed been a byproduct of those options and choice at that time No regrets

Built this one in Dubai. Might have it finished in Canada this summer. My home is Hainan but really with no work visas for people over 60 in China don't expect to spend many days/yr there for the next 10 years or more. Have had a small amount of contract work in China for cash but not a lot. Would love to have it in Hainan but importation next to impossible.
