C2W bring you the SUPERGREEN Hybrid Tricycle
On a flight to Guangzhou I was pleasantly interrupted by a lovely young lady who asked me “are you David?” and proceeded to describe her company’s new product, a hybrid tricycle. Why not feature a trike that charges its electric dynamo as you use the petrol engine?! A very useful vehicle indeed.

Re: C2W bring you the SUPERGREEN Hybrid Tricycle
So the self charging rate is 40 or 65% . Does this mean it cant run continuously ?

Hybrid again?
I was intrigued by ZXMCO's contraption - http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ll=1#post74762
Are all those... "low end" hybrids popular in China?

This one's for export mainly to South America. Was literally confronted by this girl on a plane about this model, I have to admire her courage.

65% of gas mode to 35% in electric in time.
40% of gas mode to 60% in electric in km.
These seem to me to be in conflict, as time and distance are correlated on speed and load.
You drive in electric till the batteries go dead, then drive in gas mode till they are charged. Saying that 65% of the time you will be charging and then that only 40% of the distance driven are conflicting.
Re: C2W bring you the SUPERGREEN Hybrid Tricycle
yes very obtuse way of presenting it. Just as an example . electric welders are rated in duty cycle. If you have a 100% duty cycle you can run it all day. 50% duty cycle you have to work one hour, rest and cool down one hour. This thing is like a super low tech Prius where you have to decide when and how to charge. I bet it never has a software glitch.
