Licence questions that don't add up.
OK, here are two I found, that don't seem to work.
1/
3.2.1.8 If all lights of a vehicle on the road go off suddenly at night, the driver should .
A. Drive at reduced speed B. Brake as fast as possible and stop where it is
C. Brake immediately and stop on the road side D. Stop slowly under inertia
Answer is C
2/
3.2.2.8 When all lights of a vehicle suddenly go off while running at night, the driver should immediately brake and stop.
Answer: Right or Wrong
Answer is "Wrong"
I can't really find the difference between the two questions, yet it looks like both questions are more or less the same, but deliver different answers.

Another one,
1/
3.3.2.12 In hot weather, the driver may drive a motorcycle barebacked, barefooted or wearing slippers.
Answer: Right or Wrong
Now, what is the contravention?
a) Going bareback
b) Going barefoot
c) Wearing slippers
The answer is "Wrong",
Which reminded me of a funny email I got not long ago.
Some how, I don't imagine this is what they meant by "bareback"

Weird indeed. As i always say:
"If it made sense it wouldn't be China"
Re: Licence questions that don't add up.
you come to a 4 lane crossing at night, no lights, no sign..... who has the right of way?
the one with the green light!
here is another one from my test:
you are on a countryside road by night, small road, where do you drive?
Answer: in the middle of the road.
Re: Licence questions that don't add up.
Graham, the entire test and road rules were made by a fool plagiarizing ideas from South Korea, Russia the USA, with some homespun moron theories added in, such as using Tupperware to catch someone's entrails in if they have been in an accident. The fact that some of the rules don't make sense and are utterly retarded should come as no surprise.

question 1: the answer is "C: stop on the shoulder" NOT "B: stop in the road"
question 2: the answer is "do not stop in the road"
so there's not really a conflict, just poor wording.
/incidentally a truck driver hauling cement chose "B" one night and that's how my friend smashed his VW into the rear of it...
